Bought this tv June 9, 2016 and a week ago a thin black line appeared on the screen. I have been told this is unfixable. This was a $1,200 tv, that is pretty pitiful quality LG. I have bought multiple LG televisions and I hate to say it, but that is last dollar you will get from me.

I really like the overall quality of the TV, but the remote is terrible.

Geek squad did a good installation and programmed my new remote as well

This model is very good and menu navigation is much easier now.

My wife wanted a new TV and since she likes LG products, she decided on getting this model. She is not a technophile by any means, but she was able to pick up on the blacks washing out the pictures and making it hard to see the detail when the screen was showing dark images. She also woke me up out of bed one mid morning to tell me that the screen was going from red to blue to green to white to black and back again repeatedly and no amount of disconnecting the TV would do anything. After reading up on it, I found people saying it was in a Burn In Mode. I contacted my local Best Buy who's phone system sent me to a Best Buy hundreds of miles away automatically, it was helpless to get any help with them figuring out how to fix it. So they contacted Geek Squad to set up a time to come out and fix it, which was the following Wednesday. That did not make my wife happy at all. So I contacted LG and they said they would have service person contact me Monday morning. That didn't happen. They called me on Tuesday, saying LG didn't call them until Monday to let them know about the TV. Needless to say, we returned the TV and she is now looking at getting a Sony TV and we may return the LG soundbar since, I like products to match and I don't want to have to have multiple different remotes to keep track of.

Returned this tv when the image quality was poor and had a lot of light bleeding. Blacks are ok but not the best. Good tv for those not willinh to pay for the next tier model.

This is gorgeous TV. Out of the box, the picture looks really good, but after calibrating it, it looks stunning. The colors really look great and with local dimming, the blacks really to look good too. LG's Web OS 3 is very fast too. It has instant access to apps so when you click an app, it starts in a couple seconds, at most. Netflix, Amazon and YouTube are all 4k, but unfortunately Hulu is being lazy and so far it does not do 4K on any TV(Hulu only currently does 4K on the PS4 Pro and XBox One S). Only thing LG is really missing is access to HBO Go, Showtime Anytime and the stand alone streaming services like PS Vue and Sling TV. Also, this TV supports BOTH HDR10 and the new Dolby Vision. Most other brands only support HDR10. Yes, this is an IPS panel, so you won't see the really deep blacks like say a Samsung, but the advantage of the IPS panel is that it has great viewing angle, so of you move off center, the picture retains it's looks, while other panels become washed out. The IPS panel is also great for gaming as it has a low response rate. All in all, this is a GREAT TV, especially with the current price. You won't be disappointed.

I have a Samsung 55 inch and it has a much better picture as far as color. I tried adjusting settings and can not get it close to the color I see from the Samsung.
