My husband wanted something where he could read the small writing at top like score or race car #'s and positions. We were already HD ready through dishnetwork. We all have enjoyed the great difference.

LG 55in 4K

Good for the price

Other vendors sell for 3x the price, I was happy. Overall the picture is good if a bit washed out. I haven't calibrated but it doesn't look as dark as my older plasma. I think the biggest complaint I have here is the speakers. Sound quality is tinny and hollow. But this is to be expected from most of the thin panel displays.

Did lots of research, This is a great TV

Even on older Star Trek shows it looks awesome! Lots of features and apps. I like the instant connect to my wireless devices for video content.

LG IS SUPREME

We returned it the same night because we saw flaws in the picture. We already have an lg and were extremely happy so we spend a little more and got the lg 55" 4K 120hz and it is GREAT. Lg gives you clarity and great color, my guests even compliment our tv picture! When buying a tv definitely go with LG!!

Easy to use smart TV

We were using a box to stream programs and wanted to upgrade because we we viewing more and more content from the internet. The TV was extremely easy to set up and use even for my technologically challenged husband.

Decent TV got for a family member

One minor issue the TV had to be exchanged for another new one, apparently the TV was going to a blue screen after being on for a little while. Easy to exchange and the new TV isn't having this issue.

Great TV

It has an excellent picture. It was delivered to me because I ordered it online and it was even delivered a day early. I would recommend this TV to anyone that is thinking about buying a new TV.

Crystal clear picture

We got the 55" because we didn't need a huge tv like the one on our playroom since we wouldn't use it much. After watching it for a few days, everyone in the family has abandoned the playroom for the picture quality on this. Is it the best in the world? No, but for sub-$1,000 you can't get better.

A really good UHD TV at a great price

This is my second LG UHD TV and I bought this one because of the good experience with my first LG TV. I previously owned a Samsung which lasted only 5 yrs. This TV is every bit as good as my first LG. It has a great picture and the sound is very good. The smart TV connections work very well.

Amazing picture

I found it on sale at Best Buy and for a 4K tv the price is to good to pass up! I absolutely love how thin it is and it is amazing picture quality. Haven't had any issues with it so far, we have another lg we bought back when HD just came out and it's still going strong with no issues so I have faith in this product!

We are extremely happy with the quality of the television. We both enjoy watching a lot of live sports and it completely changed our Super Bowl experience. I would definitely recommend.
