Great Tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy setup, didn't have to make any adjustments. It has a great picture quality and the sound is also good. I added a sound bar, however the set sound does the job. I just prefer a sound bar. This is the 3rd LG TV I have purchased and am a very satisfied return customer.

Nice 4k TV for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical at first but read some online reviews at the LG site and it got decent reviews. I took a chance and made the move. I had existing VESA mount and didn't need to buy a new one cause the mount was compatible (200x200). I love the new OS. Has Netflix 4k, Pandora, Iheart, Hulu, Youtube 4k, Crackle and more. It's not as extensive as Roku but the app selection are good enough for me. I have blu ray & dish connected. Blu ray looks fantastic but Dish needs to upgrade their HD channels. I think this TV is DirecTV ready so no box needed. I might switch to DirecTV because they provide 4k channels. YouTube 4k is excellent but you got to have a fast internet connection, about 25mbps or above. This was a good replacement for my old non-LED LCD tv.

GREAT BUY FOR THIS LG TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.THIS TV HAS REALLY EXCELLENT PICTURE. I USE THIS TV IN THE PICTURE SPORT MODE AND GO TO ADVANCE SETTINGS AND SET POWER SAVING MODE TO MINIMAL MODE,THIS TONES THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE PICTURE DOWN JUST A LITTE, ALSO YOU CAN TURN IT TO MEDIUMN OR MAXIMUM OR OFF COMPLETELY. ALSO YOU CAN ADJUST STANDARD PICTURE MODE,WITH THE COLOR, BRIGHTNESS,CONTRAST,SHARPNESS ECT. AS FOR AUDIO,I LIKE IT IN CIMEMA MODE. SO FAR SO GOOD,MORE BURN IN TIME WILL TELL THE STORY.

Great tv WebOS 2.0 is relatively great.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Because of webOS 2.0 i was able to bring this tv home and watch content using built in apps without having to buy roku or amazon tv etc...Aside from webOS 2.0 interface, another reason i picked LG compared similarly priced visios etc was because for warrant i'll be dealing with LG and not some third party company which manufactured the tv and then rebranded it to visio, sharp, etc.... The TV iteself is realllllly good but the that it comes with REMOTE SUCKS and looks cheaply built compared to the tv. (kinda like visio remotes back in 2004). Another thing, the black levels could be a bit better compared to other sets. Over all for the black friday price of 699 this is an awesome tv. Way better than visio, sharp etc (which are actually made by another company and rebranded)

Good picture but question the 120hz
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 4k picture is great after adjusting to get the black level right the color and tint are easy. I question the 120Hz rate best buy and Wal-Mart claim it has. I think it's 60hz with a 120hz motion rate technology to help smooth out the choppy blur. I looked up this model 55UF6450 and it says 60 frames per sec near the bottom of page. Now I see why LG left the specs off the box. http://www.lg.com/ca_en/tvs/lg-55UF6450-uhd-tv

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality is perfect, it is 120ghz refresh by the way says under menu settings and on LG website and on the box. The new webos is nice as well, the internet is very quick IMO for being a television. No complaints so far.

Good TV for the price, but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a well priced 4K TV and the screen is very nice. You have to adjust a setting to get rid of the motion blur others have noticed. I forget the name of it but its in the picture menu and not complicated. I'm giving this TV a 2 star rating because it is not eco-friendly - It has no automatic off timer. Many modern TVs will turn themselves off after a period of time where it has detected no activity. This means the TV will stay on forever if you let it, which wastes electricity and shortens product life. All modern TVs should have basic economic settings like automatic turn off (and allow the user to choose what this frequency is) yet this TV has nothing but a sleep timer and auto-on/auto -off timers which can only be scheduled for a specific time of day.. Will probably more this TV outside where it is less likely to be left on of fallen asleep in front of. .

Completely Satisfied!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't laugh but we old folks had a 13 year old 32" Panasonic that still played beautifully but it was getting hard to view. After viewing other brands we selected this model and entered a new world! Stunning colors. Best Buy sales, delivery folks, and cust. support are tops!

Finally after 2 tries
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I brought a 55 inch toshiiba and took that back and got a 55 inch Vizo, toshiiba had a content hum noise and the Vizo seemed washed out when viewing from the sides, I saw this on sell with a 4K rez ips for side viewing and spot on color. I am so happy with the purchase. Web os is very sticky for the price I paid no complaints

Great value for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Their were no reviews when I purchased this TV. Their were no floor samples ether to check out so I was relying on the LG name. I love the thin profile, simple setup and simple remote, and how low it sits on the legs (ceiling height was an issue). The only reason its not 5 stars in my world are the blacks are very gray.

Fantastic tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best tv I've ever had. Excellent picture, the smart side is laid out well. Works with all my existing lg equipment ie: bluray player, sound bar all can be Co trolled with the tv remote. My only concern is the world's lack of uhd content at the moment. I'm sure it will pick up.

Good... Then not so much!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is great but the motion (which is a big deal to me) was not. I had the TV for 3 days and then the apps started to fail. The fourth day the apps failed completely and the TV started to turn off and the back on over and over by itself along with the remote not working at all either. The moral to this story is that the TV is unreliable at this level within the LG lineup.

Amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wasn't looking for 4k, but looking at the price and size I HAD to go with this one! Once we upgraded our Netflix to ultra hd we were set. Plus the upscaling of 1080p was a major difference.

So far so good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its 120 hz for those who saying its 60. Clear smooth motion and rich colors all the way. It up scales all my HD channels close to 4k with britehouse. Has Netflix, internet, etc. And I can connect my phone to view on the big screen thru an app. Perfect TV for the price. No complaints so far.

Its alright for the price, beware 60hz refresh
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price the TV is great, the WEB OS is very fast and smooth, the TV has an okay display, id compare it to a regular 1080p TV nothing special/ no WOW factor behind it. The black colors are a little washed out. BestBuy and the TV manual state a 120hz refresh rate, i reached out to LG support and they confirmed that the native refresh rate IS 60hz. Keep this is mind, i already bought a replacement Vizio with a native refresh rate of 120hz. Overall the TV is okay for the price, but you can defeintly get a better spec TV. But this is the thinnest 4k TV in this price range, you won't find anything thinner.
