Purchased unit as an open box sale item and got remarkable images right out of the box. easy to set up and loads of options to improve picture. easy to understand remote makes use of television an absolute joy. Looking forward to next tax season so i can purchase a larger model.

I would have given this TV 5 stars except there is no good manual with it to help you find out how to make adjustments to your new TV. The menu to adjust the color is almost like a secret hidden menu. You can go to the picture settings menu and it is not there. You must go to all settings to find what you really want. In other words it will take you a week to find out all of the answers to your questions. That is a shame because once you get it figured out, it has a super picture. I know I will enjoy it now that I have toned down the EXTREME contrast. That is why I say this TV has secret greatness.

Picture quality awesome. Great features. Easy to install/ set up

This LG 4k TV has outstanding picture quality and was a great buy for the price. I had to wait a bit to have it installed because it was backordered. However it was worth the wait as it more than met my expectations. I was highly satisfied with all those I interacted with at Best Buy at the store and geek squad during and after the installation.

Although it's not plasma, this is as close as you can get. The depth and color clarity is amazing. It's easy to set up and very lightweight. Very happy overall.

Having had this television for 3 years, there is some burn-in obviously related to a couple of hours of msnbc in the evening. I contacted LG and was guided through the picture refresh but it wasn't helpful. I was told that later models are less susceptible. The burn-in area (logo area on the right and banner across the bottom) is not always super noticeable. I'm kind of disappointed, though, as I know that this tv will not be usable for as long as I usually hold on to them.

OLED is amazing, LG makes a great product. The picture quality is unmatched by any other TV at this time. 4K content looks absolutely real. LG implemented their apps very well and they're very responsive - we actually retired our fire TV stick! highly recommended if it fits in your budget (or you can stretch it a bit to get here)

There is a reason OLED sets are rated the best TV tech. Great color and bright. Had to reduce OLED Brightness for my dark room. I also have plenty of brightness when I have the room open on a sunny day. If I could still buy a new Plasma TV I would, but since I cannot, this turns out to be the only acceptable replacement. At least for me.

Extremely satisfied, amazing picture quality and true black. I have only seen a small amount of its potential due to the lack of high speed Internet in my area but gaming had been incredible. The strangest thing about the TV is, as my buddy says, it makes every look like you're watching a soap opera due to the almost infinite frame rate.

I never thought I would be able to purchase an LG 55"OLED 4K TV but decided To since my 47" LG had crashed. This is one smart TV and will adjust the picture to the room setting for color and clarity. A very natural and life like image that doesn't disappoint. Sports is great and I can't wait for Football season to startt this Fall.

Didn't know if I wanted to spend the $$$ on an OLED TV, but, boy, am I glad I did!!! The picture quality is excellent and the sound with the new sound bar is great!!! I am totally pleased with the quality of this TV. It is so light and easy to mount that it was fun!!! Would definitely buy another if I have to replace another TV.

I have own a number of Plasma TV's and would never take the bait for a larger LED screen for a lower level picture and lower action refresh rate. The OLED screen was the next step but I could not justify the cost. I jumped in Superbowl weekend and it has been great! What a picture and no action blur like with LED! Just do it!
