This LG TV gives you top notch color. Blacks come out darker than other TVs, due to the OLED screen.

I've been researching TV's for months before purchasing this OLED TV by LG. First of all, the picture is amazing. You can look at all the TV's at Best Buy and this one is easily has the best picture. Two, Web OS 3.0 is super easy to use and navigate through. You won't regret buying this TV, even though it's a little pricey, it's well worth it.

OLED provides great contrast, black blacks, and a thin, lightweight unit. Picture is excellent.

This TV was purchased to replace a Sony Bravia that was still working well but has limited screen size. The color, picture clarity are nothing short of amazing and it interfaces with my elderly entertainment system very well. It also connects with the house WiFi and Sony DVD player very well. A great upgrade for my entertainment.

The LG OLED television that I purchased has incredible picture quality. I waited a long time and did a lot of research before purchasing. The Best Buy sales team were very knowledgeable about all of the products that I inquired about. I was looking for a less expensive model at first but realized that the set that I purchased was far superior. I am glad that I decided on the set that I purchased.

I subtracted 1/2 star for value and 1/2 star for lack of 4k UHD material. Keep your expectations in check. There is not a lot of 4K, much less 4k UHD material to watch. Therefore, the vast majority of what you will be watching (1080P. 1080I, 720P and yes, even good old SD) will have to be up scaled to 4K. So the old proverb of "garbage in, garbage out" is back in force. The more heavily compressed the video, the less bits that the TV has to work with to produce a 4K picture. This will be most noticeable on your streaming services and those cable companies that are known to highly compress there channels. When the TV has a good source (Blu-Ray, OTA TV), you will get a very good picture.

After a month of exploring the many features and capabilities of the LG OLED55B6P that I purchased to replace a 1080p LCD TV, I have found the set capable of exceptional imagery given high quality source material. The initial set-up was straight forward and the user interface with the "magic" remote a delight. One can tinker with the myriad of tweaks possible to custom tailor the picture modes or simply use the factory set default values. Switching between picture modes such as Expert-Dark Room, Expert-Bright Room, Cinema, Photo, Sports etc. is just a couple of clicks away on the "magic" remote. Streaming UHD material, some of which is in HDR, brought out the best in the set as did Blue-Ray disks. Even the stingy 720p/1080i source material provided by the local cable company looked much better than my old set and some of the prime time shows were really good. I used the optical sound output to my home theater receiver for the receiver does not support 4k pass-throughput. Watch the car crash scene in episode one of the "Age of Adeline" available on Amazon for a demo of fantastic 7.2 sound reproduction (most material is 5.2). Overall, I have been pleased with this purchase even though the set, as expected, has problems smoothly displaying some scenes with rapid movement or filmed with a fast panning close-up camera. I found the set to be the very best available of the competing technologies for my dimly lit viewing environment..

I wanted to get into the Oled tvs but price was a big issue. LG was the first to bring out the Oled and I wanted to go with LG. This is my first LG TV but it by far is better than the plasmas I have owned. It is simply the best picture I have ever seen. The smart apps are awesome as well I was used to Panasonic and Samsung but I will gladly stick with LG for smart products in the future.

All my TVs were fine until I brought this home. It even sounds good on its own when I'm not using my surround system at night. I only had space for a 55 but i wish could fit a larger one. To be honest, when I first started watching it some of the scenes felt like I was in the room with them, the picture was so detailed and clear. I'm buying another LG TV for my office for "work" purposes.

The picture was even better once we saw it up on our wall. We don't have a lot of natural light during the day in our living room so the black in this was just amazing. It looks like it's off. The first night I couldn't sleep. The husband was watching it and I was in bed with the door open. The black to bright color every 30 seconds or so would be so bright. It just lit the whole hallway up.

I own a computer consulting company, & am a video director & producer, so I have seen many, many televisions, but the LG OLED technology blows them all away! I'm still exploring the many features it offers, but I was easily able to tune the screen's performance to exactly what I prefer, connected it to all three of my LANs, & hooked up all four HDMI appliances with no problem. The perfect blacks & excellent dynamic color range is by far the best I've seen. Oh, one more thing: My company is a Samsung reseller, & I could have bought their top-of-the-line 4K TV for about 1/3 the price of the LG...but I didn't!
