I've been researching this tv for a while now and because of an upcoming birthday, decided to go get it new tv. Now this tv was a little over my budget from the online price, but when I made it to the store and saw it was a few hundred dollars less, my wife convinced me to get it. I'm impressed. Going from a 1080p dynex to a 4K OLED tv is just all around amazing. Cable tv in general is chrisp and clear, hardly any juttering at all, with amazing blacks and color. One thing I don't get with reviews is the hate that it doesn't get that bright. Mine is great in brightness and can still be adjusted if I ever need it to be brighter. Gamer and there is a little bit of input lag but I haven't messed with the settings but the main thing I noticed was being able to see individual blades of "grass" in rocket league on my Xbox one. Just watched the grass move for a few minutes and it's stunning. Blue ray upscaling works great as well (no 4k player yet) every movie I've put in so far has been very impressive. 3D is trippy seeing it for the first time on a home tv. Watched some of ant man and the 3D is very clean and works very well with this tv. All in all, so far I've only had this tv for 2 days and I'm looking forward to using this tv for many years to come. You may not like what I wrote but I just had to say something because this tv is amazing (first review ever written). Anywho, great tv and a great investment.

The image is better than a movie theater. I paired the C6 with a Pioneer Elite sc-91 and some Mirage nanosets I found on Craigslist. The result is amazing. I will be recommending this to all my friends. If you can't afford this tv wait until you can. This blows away Sony and Samsung by miles.

    Stunning picture

I had a plasma tv that had a beautiful picture. Two years ago my place flooded when a sprinkler pipe pipe burst and zapped everything. The tv still worked but lost its wifi and would sometimes would take four or five tries to turn on. I was living with it but had been reading up on the new television. I did not think that I could live with an LED tv after having the plasma set. When OLED came out it sounded interesting but was beyond my pocketbook. When I found out that no 2017 models were available with 3D capability I zeroed in on the LG 55C6P. The price on this set has become much more reasonable. I got this yesterday, and let me tell you, I am more than happy. The picture is absolutely amazing and it has all the connections and features I was looking for. If 3D is important to you I would suggest you not wait and get this tv before it is gone.

If you want the darkest blacks and richest colors you've ever seen then this is the tv for you! Nothing compares to OLED, I wouldn't spend money on anything else.

Buy for amazing 3D and stay for the 4K

I had a Panasonic Plasm TV for 10 years and two of the LED TV's I tried was a disappointment . I am very picky. I use this TV for watching movies and playing video games. The black levels and picture quality on this TV are the best I have seen. The 3D picture quality is as good as it is in a movie theater. The 4K resolution will simply change the way you see a movie because of all of the detail it shows. The curved screen is also nice with the exception of certain scenes in 3D.. However the motion blurring can on occasion become a little jarring as my plasma can still handle fast action scenes better. The speakers are not the best. With that said I am still very pleased with this TV.

Quality on this Oled TV is awesome. Watched a couple of 3D movies and was really surprised. You can even use the disposable 3d glasses you get at the movies. Very pleased with it.

The black levels on this thing are superb! 4K and HDR content makes this tv just really make you drop your mouth in aw. I always dreamed of getting an OLED. The picture really speaks for itself.

Loved the curved TV. Too bad you can't get them any more. Only downfall is after a few years the OLED leave things imprinted on the screen if you watch a something that has an emblem up all the time

    Almost Amazing! (So close)

This television is a true cinephile's dream... almost. The picture clarity is fantastic. The blacks are as dark black as can be. The curved screen looks great from most angles. Very little reflection from ambient. but... When complex images move quickly, there is a horrible stuttering.. I won't even call it a blur. It's quite annoying, when it happens, which, in a movie like Star Wars, is often. As this is just my bedroom TV, I won't look to replace it, but for my main living area, I would look to a unit that has a faster processor.

I almost bought last year's model but decided to hold off. When the 2016 models came out with all the new upgrades and no price increase, I had to pull the trigger. The picture is so lifelike, it is like looking out the window. I really don't know if it is worth the price to have it calibrated. The picture is that good.

Perfect TV Picture but not SONOS compatible

    Posted .

The TV iteslf is absolutely perfect as far as the picture-- best I've seen. But the included universal remote is useless if you have a SONOS system connected by an optical audio cable. The connection app recognizes just about every sound system--except SONOS, and you cannot even manually link SONOS. The sound will play through SONOS as a generic speaker, but you cannot adjust the sound volume with the LG remote. So If you have a Sonos system, you will need to buy and use a third party remote. My overall rating is a 5 stars for the picture and 1 star for the remote, for an average of 3 stars. If LG ever decides that that SONOS is worthy of matching with LG's TVs, I will gladly raise my rating to 5 stars.

A vertical green line appeared on left side of screen about 18 months ago. Then there was burn-in of a news channel logo in lower right. Just replaced it with Sony. But for 3.5 years, it was a great TV.
