Bough this OLED TV to replace our 4 yr old Samsung plasma that died. Absolutely love the color and picture quality.

This OLED tv is absolutely stunning. It's sleek design, amazing colors, and true blacks set it apart. I love it.

I bought an open box tv. Had trouble getting the right remote for the tv when delivered without it. It took a couple trips back to store but the geek squad brought one out and programmed it to the tv and its working out well. I love the tv

Coming from plasma, I was stunned with the color, motion rate, and bells & whistles. Don't regret not getting 4K

Went into Best Buy just before Christmas looking for a deal on a 50+ inch LED 1080p given the advertised prices. Looking at the variety of sets and pricing, I asked the advisor - what's your thinnest set and he showed us this OLED 55LGEG9100. The picture was beautiful, the set was beautiful and pencil thin but was much more than I anticipated on spending. However, going back and then comparing to the others made the others pale in comparison. Having a Best Buy credit card and 24 months financing I justified the price as about $100/mo and bought the unit (which at the time, included the wall mount). We've been using the set for three weeks now and am very satisfied with everything. I haven't used the voice commands, and already have an Apple TV (which I prefer) so I don't necessarily use the integrated services. However, when playing a YouTube video on my phone, an option did pop up on my phone to play on the LG TV which worked fine but the picture quality was darker than desirable. The sound on this unit is excellent! Have to say this as I was almost talked into buying a sound bar but after setting up and watching for 3 weeks. No sound bar required. It plays crisp, clear sound even at lower levels like 10. I did acquire a 3D movie and used the 3D glasses and it was an amazing experience. There are other 3D modes that are possible with standard TV and the glasses, the effects were subtle but 3D was there. 3 HDMI ports and 3 USB ports made hook-up of external video (Apple TV, SlingBox) and USB storage devices a breeze. Take the time to understand the unpacking instructions. It is very well packed and you're not to grab the TV by the screen face so use their recommended method. It's only 26 pounds which was much easier to maneuver than the 76lb 42" plasma it was replacing. I've very happy with this OLED set from LG. Now I simply have to set reset my DVR to the HD channels - there is no going back to non-HD with a set like this.

Best picture you can get on a HD tv. But now all I see is a non functioning tv. The board on the panel went out two weeks after the one year warranty ran out. Unfortunately I did not get the extended warranty so fixing it is out of the question. I know...my bad. Perhaps if the sales person sold the extended warranty properly (new technology, little track record for MTBF) I would have bought it. Buyer beware of LG and OLED.

I purchased this TV as an open item. It's a great TV considering it's an OLED. I would much rather have the OLED 4K if I could afford it.

The colors and picture are very vivid. I just wish I would have gotten a little bigger Tv but overall very good price for Tv

I wanted a TV that would fit on our mantel, and this was it. All of the extras were a BIG plus.

My favorite purchase thus far! The clarity is unreal. It's so clear it feels as though you can touch the faces of the actors or pet the animals on the screen. Highly recommend!
