We first ordered a new TV online. When we received it, we didn’t like the size or the clarity of the picture. We sent it back. We went to Best Buy to look at TV’s. The young man that assisted us was very knowledgeable and helped us select the best quality TV for our budget and our situation. (We had had our previous TV for 14 years)

Hi, there. Thank you for your feedback on the LG TV (55QNED80UQA) model. We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the picture quality, but we understand your concern about not having access to the NFL or NBA apps. Unfortunately, app availability can vary based on licensing agreements and device compatibility. While we strive to provide a wide range of options, we recognize this limitation can be disappointing.

If you have further questions or need assistance with alternative streaming options, please reach out to us via private message on social media @LGUSSupport. We're here to help and appreciate your understanding. ^Juvy LG

I bought this TV less than 24 hours ago. Set it up last night, got it all set up and didn't use it. Played a game this morning, was on a pause menu for maybe 3-5 minutes answering the door, came back and the menu was image burned into the TV. Will be returning immediately.

I've had this TV for about 4 months now. I bought it because it seemed to be the only one on the market (at least in this price range) that had the HBOMax app embedded in addition to all the other standard ones you find on other Smart TVs. I didn't want to have to buy an external streaming device like Roku or FireTV just so I could watch HBO. I'm very impressed with the picture quality & brightness - especially in the Vivid and Sports modes. I usually don't watch in those modes, but it's nice to have when I do. The only drawback I've come to find with this TV is the difficulty of accessing the settings to change things. So many button-pushes and sub-menus! It's not intuitive at all to find where to select and change the settings for which channel or app the TV starts up in for example. Samsung's user interface software is so much better. But Samsung doesn't load HBOMax on their TVs, so...... Another thing is that LG TVs are notorious for being fussy about Internet network connections. At first everything seemed to be ok - I was able to connect to WiFi without trouble and watch streaming channels without pauses. I set it to power up to the Home Page (which is the webOS landing page) rather than broadcast TV. If I had been watching Netflix before powering down, it would come back up on Netflix - this is exactly what I wanted. After a couple weeks though, it seemed to revert back to broadcast on power up on its own, and I had to select the Home page myself. Well, from that time on, I had trouble I had trouble with getting the TV to connect to my network. If I selected Netflix, Amazon Prime, or the LG channels, those apps would come back with an error message saying I didn't have internet access - wasn't connected. But I was! Going to the TV Settings (gear icon) and selecting Network, it showed that I was connected. I tried both wired and wireless, but still had the same result - not connected to the apps. Cycling power anywhere from 2-5 times would eventually fix this issue, but it's very frustrating to have to do that every time you want to watch something. Finally today I went back to check the setting for the landing page on power up (Home Screen on or off). Sure enough it was set to OFF. Changing it back to ON fixed the problem with the apps connecting to the internet on power up the first time again. But I don't trust that it's going to stay that way - hope I don't have to keep doing this all the time. I've tried updating the firmware via the network, but it says I already have the latest version. One other thing - the sound quality is not nearly as good as they claim. I don't think you can find ANY flat screen TV out there that can give you sound quality that's as good as a soundbar. Even the cheap soundbars will be better than the crappy, tinny sound you get from the speakers in the TV. Anyway, I'm happy with my purchase. And right now the price is about $150 less than what I paid. Get a soundbar with the money you save. Glad I didn't wait until now to buy. I've had 4 months to enjoy it already!

I recently purchased the LG QNED 55-inch TV from Best Buy, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! The picture quality is absolutely stunning, thanks to the Quantum Dot and NanoCell technologies. The colors are vibrant, and the contrast is superb, especially when watching 4K HDR content. It really brings movies and sports to life. The TV’s brightness is more than enough, even in a well-lit room, and the blacks are deep, which gives a fantastic viewing experience, especially for nighttime viewing. The AI-powered 4K upscaling does a great job of making lower resolution content look crisp and clear. The webOS platform is smooth, and I love how intuitive it is to navigate between apps like Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube. The Magic Remote makes controlling everything so much easier with its point-and-click functionality. Plus, it has voice control, so you can ask the TV to switch apps or find content without even picking up the remote. The sound quality is decent, but I paired it with a soundbar for a more cinematic experience. That said, even the built-in speakers are good enough for casual viewing. Overall, this TV has exceeded my expectations, and it’s a fantastic upgrade for anyone looking for a premium viewing experience. Highly recommend!

We really love this TV. We are 75 years old and have owned numerous TVs over the years. I never dreamed that the technology would advance to this level. It comes with a voice activated remote control and artificial intelligence. It has multiple video and audio choices. 120 cycle refresh makes images razor sharp. I run audio through a 5.1 receiver and the sound is awesome. We are very happy with this TV.
