Weird human interface, particularly the remote.

But it's human interface is confusing, and the remote puts you into this pointer mode which, though good in some situations, is certainly not under my control. You have to stop and think of how to get out of it. I also find I worry about LG spying on me — this is only my paranoia — but I previously had a Sony and worried less about that factor. Overall, I wish I had bought a Sony again.

Nice picture but made to break

Less than a year in, I started having problems with my screen. It would flicker and turn off but the sound would still work. Unfortunately I bought it on sale before moving and it had stayed in the box for a few months. By the time it started to malfunction, the warranty was up. I’m out over a grand and this thing barely works now and need replaced. It would cost more to fix than to just buy a new tv. I am livid with how long this lasted.
