  • Problem with the soundbar

    The soundbar covers the infrared sensor on the tv, so you cannot turn the tv on with the remote unless you get right up to the set. I bought an IR extender, but it won't work either. The stand that the tv sits on should be a little higher and this would eliminate this problem.

    The Geek Squad has been to my house twice, once at installation, and once to trouble shoot a head phone problem. They were going to return again on Wednesday, but the installer (Justin) evidently had close contact with someone exposed to the virus. I still need help. The headphones newly purchased from Best Buy will not work properly. When in surround sound mode (Vizio bought from Best Buy and installed at same time as TV), either the surround sound works, or the headphones work. Not both together. This needs to be resolved, soon, or I will return the surround sound system as unworkable.

    This TV is great when it is getting a strong uninterrupted signal. However, it has been freezing up. We have had Cox technicians to come out several times and they have yet to solve the problem.
