    When I got the computer home, Windows was not installed all the way. I received a message that Windows had not finished installing. I drove 40 miles round trip to pick up this computer -- my fault for not testing it at the store first. But then to get it home and find Windows was not installed all the way. Took it back to Best Buy to exchange for a computer with Windows, and no problems thus far. Best Buy exchanged with no problem, but when I asked for some type of concession or a break, it was just my hard luck in having to drive so far. In Jacksonville, this store was the only one that had this computer in stock, and I needed a new computer right away as my other computer's camera would no longer work with Zoom when I was the host. The techs were not able to do anything with the computer -- said the computer must have been turned off before the installation was completed at the HP factory or wherever these computers are put together. This rating is for Best Buy, as there was no break given to me for my round trip. The computer thus far is working nicely -- time will tell.

    Went in to buy a Samsung. Spoke with the LG rep who sold me on this LG tv. Brought this TV home, got it all plugged in.. all of a sudden starts turning off all by itself. Day 1. Turned of 10 times during the basketball game. Packaged it back up. Exchanged it for the same model the next day. Set the new TV up... screen went black in matter of hours from taking it out of the box. Tried all the tricks they mention online on how to fix this. Which mad em question "why we have this many tricks", must mean there is an obvious flaw somewhere. Not sure what is going on LG! Heading back to return this tomorrow and get a Samsung. Best buy has been great to work with, for returns and exchanges. The only saving grace in this whole situation.

    Crystal Clear LG Gold

    The TV arrived with very clear instructions for setup. I was really blown away that the weight of the TV was so light. Picture quality was second to none and far exceeds any other 4K TV I’ve ever witnessed. If they’re was one criticism that I had of the TV it would be the remote. I didn’t like the directional controls and would have much preferred quick link buttons to Disney +, Hulu, and Netflix like the TCL’s. Albeit aside I would still choose this television over any other based on quality and ease of use. Highly recommend. The features that I enjoy the most would be the quick swapping back an forth of Hulu, Netflix, and Disney Plus on the remote. I've gotten really big into Marvel lately so watching and re-watching the franchise has really been enjoyable mostly because of the color contrast and deep black eminating from the Television to give it a more realistic feel. I'm currently not using the sound from the Television as I have it hooked up to a Home Theater System but what I can say is that the Digital Output from the TV is in an easy space to connect. The sound quality of the Television minus the Home Theater system is very much equivalent to a sound bar. For myself, I enjoy a little more bass in my audio with a surround sound feel but I would not say that this TV mandates needing that to enjoy its sound quality. All A/V, Digital Inputs are in a space that is easy to remove/replace. The TV fits perfectly on my wall and it was easily mountable thanks to its very thin design. I was blown away by how thin the television was and the crystal clear output. The weight of the Television was very light but I would still recommend using TV people to mount to the wall. Due to how light this television is, consumers can feel more at ease mounting their wall mounts into a wall via anchors into Dry Wall or directly to the stud. This is the feature television in my house and I've gotten so many questions from friends and family as to how beautiful it is.

    Power board broken in just over a month.

    The TV is now blinking red standby light and then not turning on. Must have a power issue. It's in a grounded surge protector with nothing else plugged in. I've done the 6 hours power off and resets. Unfortunately I had only 2 weeks to return and I bought it 5 weeks ago.

    Hey Everyone! I’m writing a review for the new TV we just received from LG! This TV is AMAZING… let’s just start there. It’s the OLED BX 2020 Model and 55 inches of wonderful color in my eyeballs! The TV was easy to remove from the Styrofoam packaging and the assembly took LESS than 30 minutes. Flip up your TV, put it on your stand and MAN…take a look at that beauty! It’s SUPER thin! It’s maybe a quarter of an inch thick… like the size of the very tip of your finger. When turning on the TV, you see a bunch of pre-installed applications and one that caught my eye was Apple TV. This is a feature that is new and not in our older model, the OLED B8 2018. Sound quality is great, lots of bass, depth, range, and the COLORSSS! It does justice to 4K shows and movies for sure especially the ones using Dolby Vision IQ and Atmos. The shadows and depth of what we see in real life definitely resonate with the lighting of this TV. Hell, if these were glasses, I’d wear ‘em! Worth the investment! Now get watchin’!

    Black crushing still exists and the newly touted AI chip upgrade made the recent tv press conference President and First Lady faces look like they were being masked or in witness protection. Save your money. Buy last years series 9 tcl roku instead.

    Problems with connectivity

    Today is 6/11/21 it has been two months and I am still dealing with more than 8 geek squad appointments to help troubleshoot the issue with the connectivity of this tv with the new receiver and speakers.

    Had to get a replacement as this TV (BX) model would not work properly from Day 1. Very satisfied with the replacement provided by Best Buy.

    Amazing Edge to Edge Viewing!

    I recently purchased an LG 55" TV (OLED55BXPUA) to use in my office as a third monitor as well as for streaming entertainment. I am blown away by how thin this TV is! Plus, the bevel around the edge is the thinnest I have ever seen, which gives great edge to edge viewing. I love the webOS software on the TV, it allows for seamless connectivity from my phone or laptop. It is very handy to be able to download streaming apps for all of our streaming services! The Magic Remote has quick launch buttons and works in a way that it does not need to be pointed at the TV to work, which is very useful. I do wish the power cord and other cord/cable outputs were in the same general area so you could do easier cable management when the TV is hung on the wall. The picture and sound quality are the best we've ever seen. I highly recommend this LG TV! *Disclaimer: I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

    LG OLED Known Common Burn-in issue

    I own the LG OLED55C7P, purchase Nov 2017 BUYERS BEWARE All LG OLED TV's have a huge burn-in problem in center of screen, a well-known problem, just search the internet, in my case Bright Yellows turn Green in center of screen after about 12-36 months of use, (usually after warranty expires. Most techs feel it is caused by excessive heat buildup in the controller board. NOT improper use. LG replaces screen if still in warranty. not sure if it affects SONY OLED's the same way (Sony OLED panel made by LG) Thus poor value for only 18 months of use. So, if like your University of Michigan yellow uniforms appear Michigan State University Green it’s OK. IF you do purchase a LG OLED TV, I highly recommend you buy an extended Warranty that will cover burn-in issues. Otherwise a great TV picture when new.

    Blurry oled tv and can not get any customer servic

    Looked great in the store. Best picture ever. Installed it and the picture is not clear. No big deal, I purchased the Geek Squad plan. Try to call the store and computer eventually tells me to go to the internet. Internet give me another number to call. After 45 minutes the guy says he can not schedule an appointment, but someone will call me by 9:30 Today. I was given a number to call if I had any problems. At 1:00 I called the number it is now almost 3:00 and am I still waiting.

    Quit working after 3 years-they want $1200 to fix

    Horrible - purchased Dec 4, 2020 - now it doesn't work. Had the geek squad come out they thought it was a $300 part, they came back to install, TV still didn't work they told us something is bad with the screen and it would cost $1200 to fix, the same price I paid for the TV. Will never buy another LG. Best Buy was great.
