Technical Issues Straight Out of the Box
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am on my 2nd c2 in as many weeks. I returned the first one due to app crashing/sparking noises/etc. having same issue with 2nd one. I also have vertical lines all across. Ive had the c1 for 18 months and not an issue. I’m unsure what to do now.

Not built to last
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dead vertical pixel line after one year. LG won’t repair their manufacturer defect. Not a TV built to last. Temporary fix by pressing on bottom of screen.

The best OLED TV for the money out there
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV is also deceptively heavy, likely since a lot of the LCD TVs, even the large ones, are light. I've seen reviewers in awe at how thin the panel is, but LG has a protruding box for the components and only the PANEL is super thin, not the entire TV. The colors are obviously amazing. That's what you get from OLED. The blacks are simply black because there's no light bleed that you'd get from standard LED. I watched "Our Universe" on Netflix on this TV and my Lord is it beautiful. At 4k / 144hz, this TV also future proof because consoles can't currently output 4k resolution @ 144hz. The PS6 and Xbox whatever they call it should be able to however. In the meantime, I'm enjoying playing old PSX games on it. The remote control is too big, there's too many buttons and it feels outdated except that it does have voice controls and conveniently you can point the remote at the TV to control it like you would a Wiimote if you're familiar with the Nintendo Wii. It does not require a peripheral to be added to the TV as it's built in. The stand sits in the middle which is nice because if you have a smaller TV stand, you don't have to worry about the TV not fitting. It does have VESA if you wanted to mount this to the wall of course. The speakers it comes with are pretty good. There's a mode where you can use another sound output (like a soundbar) in combination with the TV speakers. I personally didn't like it so I disabled it, but the option is there. It has different sound modes as well but those only work if you use the TV Speakers. It does have a sleep timer and some power saving features as well as OLED care options as OLED unfortunately has the potential to 'burn' images into the screen similar to old Plasma TVs if you are familiar with how they had the same drawback. This really only applies to people who leave CNN on or something where there is a permanent banner for hours and hours a day. Burn in is less prone even with games because the HUD and other static objects usually goes away when you pause or bring up the menu. The processor is quick too. A fast processor is needed to keep up with the algorithms that assist with image quality but it also has the added effect of not causing any lag or delay in the menus. I purchased a 65" entry level QLED TV from Samsung and the processor they use in there is garbage. Sometimes you will hit a button and it takes, legit, 2-3 seconds to respond. This TV does not have that problem. Overall, this is an expensive TV but if you love a good picture quality, it's worth it and it will last a long time assuming you take care of it and don't leave CNN or whatever running on it all day.

LG C2 OLED with terrible DSE
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed! This TV has a bad DSE issue (Dirty Screen Effect). Hard to watch golf or other sports / shows with more solid colors. The screen has dark smudges all over giving the appearance that it needs cleaned. I was told OLED TVs didn’t have this issue. Wrong. This was an open box purchase… however it was advertised as “like new.” I’ll be returning and won’t be purchasing an LG.

Bad television
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There seems to be something wrong with my television. Unfortunately I waited more than 2 weeks to set it up so I missed the return period, however the image and video quality is terrible. Hoping that the manufacturers warranty can refund me if Best Buy cannot. Im not sure if all these TVs are as bad as the one I got, but Id advise against these and get something 1/4 the price with a better picture/video quality.

Best TV money can buy for gaming.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OLED is the future. This is the best tv I’ve ever owned. The blacks are unmatched and HDR is absolutely incredible in PC games. Gsync adds even more to the amazing experience. I got the 55” just to game on bc pixel density starts to get too high above 55”. I use it for a secondary PC to my primary PC which I use a 32” 4K 144hz nano IPS monitor. The c2 bests my 1400 dollar 32” in presentation because of the EVO panel and OLED tech. No burn in, and reviews say this thing doesn’t get bright.. it gets SUPER bright with the HDR on. I have a top of the line Samsung mini LED as well and it doesn’t even come close to the new OLED’s. Gaming features are amazing as well. Real time FPS counter, etc etc etc. get one! You will never regret it. The c3 will not be a big upgrade at all from the c2 because it will have the same Evo panel.

Superb picture quality and user interface!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was blown away by the color quality, crispness, and how black the blacks get on OLED tvs like this one. Beautiful picture and an tv excellent for console gamers like myself. Absolutely recommend this tv if your a regular gamer. The remote that comes with it works really well and has some really cool, unexpected smart features like the moving cursor that follows your movement. The picture mode automatically switches to Game mode when a game console is turned on with features such as VRR and FPS clearly visble. My only disappointment with this tv was the fact that it doesn’t support DTS audio or passthrough. Anyone exclusively using their tv for streaming content won’t be bothered by this since most streaming services use some form of Dolby audio. If you own or watch a lot of 4k blurays or regular blurays like myself, you may be disappointed since the majority of blurays use DTS audio for the surround sound experience. A lot of newer movies use Dolby as well, including Dolby Atmos. However, a majority of blurays use DTS and most, if not all Nolan films, like the Dark Knight films, exclusively use DTS. Lastly, if you have a surround sound setup and you end up connecting your bluray/4k player directly to your audio setup, the lack of DTS support probably won’t affect your setup and you’ll get the full DTS, DTS:X, DTS-HD Master Audio intended from the film. Other than the lack of DTS support or passthrough, I absolutely loved the TV and wished I could’ve kept it. Build quality was excellent, it’s bright enough for most room setups, excellent HDR, odd but somewhat low profile tv stand, excellent remote, user friendly settings which were easy to navigate, four 2.1 HDMI porta (Sony A80J only has two 2.1 HDMI ports and two 2.0 ports). I only decided to return it and buy a Sony A80J because the lack of DTS Audio support and the $300 cheaper price tag of last years Sony model, A80J, which is very similar in quality, features, and picture quality, as well as for its DTS support and passthrough. What it comes down to is your setup and what you use your tv for a majority of the time. If you game and/or stream 75% of the time, definitely go with this LG. If you watch a lot of physical media like me, Sony OLED TVs may be your only option if you’re looking for DTS support on an OLED television. Samsung doesnt support DTS anymore either. Either way, you wont be disappointed with the LG C2, it’s expensive but absolutely worth it on sale

Best Television on the Market!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this TV as an upgrade for the Game Room, previously in the room was a 2018 Samsung Q8FN. This OLED is so much better than any QLED from Samsung (I know, because we recently purchased a QN85B for the Living Room, and I’m really wishing it was still able to be exchanged for another C2). The colors and blacks are vivid and really standout. Dolby Vision (a feature not found on Samsung TV’s) is one of those things you must see for yourself to truly understand the difference in quality from HDR10+. I watched my first Dolby Vision video this past weekend and was blown away, I’m really hoping Sony updates the PS5 to add Dolby Vision support. There was a part in the video that if I paused it, I could count the individual strands of hair on someone’s head or each star within the night sky that was being displayed, it was almost as good as seeing everything in person. And onto the PS5, gaming is so much better with 120fps, do yourself a favor and upgrade to this TV today, you won’t be disappointed! The slim, light, and compact design made hanging on a wall-mount a breeze. WebOS, haven’t had much experience with it. I personally love Android for a TV OS so I plugged in my Chromecast with Google TV and mainly use that for my streaming apps. The bit I have used seems quick enough. The LG Magic Remote, when I first saw the remote I was a little turned off (compared to the remote provided with the recently purchased QN85B), but upon first use I learned where it got “Magic” in it’s title. The remote can be used very similarly to how you would use a wii-mote, without the sensor bar and a lot more responsive. TLDR: 10/10, buy the TV!!!

OLED is awesome
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I like this TV a lot. Has a ton of customization in adjusting the picture quality. Blacks are black. Colors are vibrant. Games look great on this TV. 120hz support is a plus for PS5 and Xbox Series X. Some people have said the speakers don’t sound good but I disagree. I think the speakers sound decent. The magic remote is neat but the instructions do not specify where to place the air blaster. Would be nice to have an example or ideal locations to mount it.

Best TV ever
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LG C2 OLED is an exceptional television and an excellent choice for those seeking a top-tier viewing experience. The C2 OLED features a 4K UHD resolution, providing an outstanding level of detail, color accuracy, and contrast. Its OLED display technology ensures true blacks and vibrant colors, providing an immersive viewing experience. The TV also boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, making it well-suited for gaming and fast-action content. LG has included a range of features to enhance the viewing experience, such as HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG. The TV also has built-in speakers that deliver excellent audio quality, and support for virtual 5.1 surround sound. The C2 OLED is equipped with the webOS operating system, which is user-friendly and offers access to a broad range of streaming apps, including Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video. Additionally, it has both Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity, allowing users to easily connect to the internet. The TV's design is sleek and minimalist, with a thin profile and minimal bezels. The included stand is sturdy and stylish, and the TV can also be mounted on a wall for a streamlined look. The only potential drawback of the LG C2 OLED is its price, as it is a high-end television that may be out of reach for some consumers. However, if you're willing to invest in a premium television, the LG C2 OLED is a great choice that delivers an incredible viewing experience.

Awesome tv but...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best TV I've ever owned. The picture is amazing. Gaming is amazing. The colors, the saturation is just eye candy galore. The downside is the remote and the UI. The remote has a stupid pointer and wheel. Doesn't light up in the dark. The UI just needs work.
