Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disabled stage 2 COPD & 2 Cancer Surgery's & much more, I Bought this TV during black Friday as a combination House Warming, Christmas & Birthday Present, I live about an hour away From Cape Girardeau, when I drove to Cape to pick up my new Tv I was asked if I had a strap, my reply was no it should sit up in my 2008 Lincoln MKX SUV just fine and it did, it stood up all the way home just fine from where to employ put it and he even stated it would be fine like that, On December the 30th my Birthday I opened the pristine box sat the tv on the stand with the help of my nephew plug it in and to my horror the screen was cracked so on the 31st I called the Cape Girardeau store 573-335-6729 to see what if anything could be done, The first person I talked to didnt tell me anything but switched me to another person named Edgardo whom i sat and talked with off and on for 24 minutes, he looked up my account and gave me a good comment on being a registered Best Buy customer for so long and looked at my history and proceeded to tell me that they considered me a valued customer and for me to bring the Tv back and exchange it for a new one, I asked 2 times before loading up the old tv with my nephew and asked are they sure and if i needed to bring anything with me other than the TV, he told me no that everything was taken for me to just bring the tv and exchange it so me and my nephew loaded it up and i made the drive to Cape, upon arriving i walked into the store and made contact with an employee and proceeded to tell him why i was there , his response was "I wish they wouldn't have told you that" and " I wish you wouldn't have driven so far" He never looked up my account he didn't do anything, except make a comment about me buying it on sale as if it was not a good thing, Im walking out of the store in disgust and see a 55 inch LG OLED I looked at my nephew and said well there's my tv that i cant have and walked out but after a couple of days i thought I'll go back and talk to the manager so i drive back up when i entered the store this time i simply said after he asked if i needed help that i would like to speak with a manager his first words were ,Why!? I proceeded to tell him and all of a sudden he says the he thinks the manager is in the back and so i talked to him some more at which time he says the manager is not there today but should be in tomorrow and that he s the associate manager while the manager isn't there, in other words i got the run around for the second time and didint know anymore than i did when i got there so now im left with a $1300 Useless Brick and all I want to know is where is the tv i was promised by a Best Buy employee, if this is not made right once my BEST BUY credit card is payed off I will no longer be buying anything else from Best Buy, I will cut up and shred the card and delete my Best Buy account, I have never been treated like this before Best Buy has always been good to me but I've never gotten the run around like this from any place I have ever shopped at, I do not want to hear from anyone from BEST BUY of CAPE GIRARDEAU if you want to get ahold of me call me at my registered number on my best buy account, I would have written sooner but due to the illnesses I have to deal with I haven't had time. I always like Best Buy but not anymore and I've bought quite a few things from here, All i want now is an ending of any kind, Sincerly Jeff Mc

Awful installer after sale they just don’t care

Well they didn’t. Had to wait from 11/19to Jan 4 to get it all done. The svc was cancelled and then on new date no one showed up. Rescheduled and cancelled again and again Well not so in the meantime I spent 2 hrs on phone w dish and 1 hr on phone w Amazon prime to set everything up. Had some lasting questions and when the guy came out he told me what to do and left. In the meantime I was scheduled for set ups on Leaving me to finish routing cables the correct way thru tv cabinet. Oh yes really great.

I ordered this LG 65 inch oled tv on Feb. 14, 2025. Best Buy called on Feb. 19 to confirm delivery for the next day, the 20 between 3pm and 7pm. On the day of delivery, Feb. 20, I received a voicemail saying the tv would not be delivered that day and I should contact Best Buy to expedite delivery. I called Best Buy and talked with two different people who assured me the tv would indeed be delivered on Thursday Feb. 10. I also chatted online with two different people who said the same thing. The tv was not delivered. On Friday I contacted customer service. I finally was able to speak with a supervisor. I requested cancellation. She informed me that would take 24 to 48 hours and she would call me on Sunday afternoon to confirm. She did not. I physically visited the store on Feb. 24 and explained the situation and again requested a cancellation. I spoke with a girl at customer service as well as a store manager who said it would be taken care of. The next day on Tuesday Feb. 25, the order is saying the tv was delivered. It was not. The haul away service was cancelled and refunded but the tv was "delivered." I again visited the Best Buy store on Wed. Feb.26 and once again explained the situation. After waiting over an hour in the store, the girl at customer service told me it would take 24 to 48 hours because apparently they had to find the tv, who "delivered" it, etc and to come back Saturday. I I am beyond upset and frustrated. All I have gotten is the runaround but no tv and no refund. Each person I spoke with really did not seem concerned about my situation at all. I will never make another purchase from Best Buy especially if it has to be delivered and I would strongly caution others to do the same. This had better be resolved on Saturday.

Great picture, poor quality

Had it for less than 2 months before it just shut off and would not turn back on. Checked the outlet, breaker, tried a different outlet. Nada. I bought it as a gift for my fiancé who is a big gamer, so that was pretty disappointing. Thank goodness for the warranty.

Shuts down all the time. Needs replacement 1 yr.

It just shuts off whatever you are watching and shows an error message advising to turn it off and back on. Only unplugging it helps. BTW setting up Alexa is a pain on this TV, really gave up. glad i bought the warranty.

Disappointed customer

By tracking the order, we saw it arrived to the store but was not ready for pickup. Then later we saw the message report that others are on their way. The TV was bought and paid for. Just no TV.

Difficult company to deal with

Superior picture, but the audio is lacking
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I splurged on this TV today after being disappointed by a different TV model Im returning. I'm very pleased with the picture, and especially with the excellent color, contrast, and black levels when viewing from a 45 degree angle. I'm very disappointed however in the audio - it has no analog audio output, so I can't connect it to my analog hi-fi system. I bought a digital audio cable and a DAC to overcome that, but realized that wont work: with digital audio out, the remote cant control the volume! So I've had hi-fi audio with my TVs for 40 years, but now I have to listen on the TV speakers whoch are fair at best, or buy an LG sound bar which would be somewhat better, but costs a lot and still is not as good as my old hi-fi system. Im goong to keep the TV for the picture but the loss of high quality audio really sticks in my craw. The TV obviously includes a DAC for the internal speakers. LG just failed to provide an output jack, and it would cost them pennies to include one. I can only conclude they sabotaged the product design to force customers to buy an LG soundbar which is downright rotten of them.
