3 stars because first of all the price is very expensive doesn't match with tv experience so that's a - 2 *. Second of all the color gamut is not as wide as Quantum technology and it is very noticeable, I would say 25% less than Quantumdot color. So outdated color like from 5years ago. So that's another -1* and finally the brightness and user interfaces still lagging still not good enough. So that's another -.5*. In conclusion, this TV is way over price and outdated color.

When I bought my TV the salesman told me that if it went on sale cheaper in the next 90 days they would refund the difference. That was in addition to their regular price matching guarantee with other sources. The TV indeed has gone on sale for $50 less at BB twice now and for $20 less at Amazon but they refuse to honor their promises. They gave me a crazy runaround – that since the TV at BB came from a different supplier and therefore has a different SKU (an internal inventory control number assigned by BB itself) so it doesn’t count????? The same exact model and size of TV but they changed an internal control number so they don’t have to give me my money?? Do they have special software that generates new random sku’s every week when the sales change to make sure they never have to do it? They said the Amazon price didn’t count either because that was also a different supplier!!! Duh!! It’s a different company – OF COURSE it is a different supplier. I have bought my appliances and large electronics from them for years. I was waiting for my TV BB reward certificate to buy a zoomy new LG induction stove but since they made it clear they don’t want my business anymore and in fact are effectively barring me from ever shopping there again I bought it elsewhere.

Bought open box, didn't work

Well i cant say much about it since i only had it for a day and stopped using it since it didn't work. I bought this open box, was supposed to be "excellent" condition, but when i picked it up i had to ask for a remote, and it didn't come with anything else. Anyways the tv would turn off after about 20 minutes and wouldn't work unless i unplugged it and plugged it back in. So i ended up returning it, which was hassle free thankfully.

I cannot review the item directly yet as it has not been delivered or installed. It has been delayed twice, the first time for weather, but the second time because they gave the TV to someone else and didn't have any more. Now, it is suppose to be back in stock as of 1/6, but they refuse to install until 1/14.

I thought I was buying this from Best Buy, but BEWARE, read the fine print, they have just started selling from THIRD PARTY VENDORS and I could not get an extended warranty through Best Buy. I was told to see if the vendor would have one.
Best Buy, it is not right that you are so sneaky. Make it obvious that people are not buying from you. There isn't even a way to narrow down your buying search to just Best Buy. NOT a happy customer.
The $1,200 tv is ok, the stars are for BEST BUY selling me a tv from a Tennessee vendor using marketing tricks.

Tv shuts itself off

TV only lasted two weeks before randomly turning itself off when using HDR for a couple hours. Dolby digital setting only lasts 10 minutes before the tv restarts on its own.
Also the Hawthorne location of Best Buy was a miserable experience going in to buy the new tv. No customer service, no one helped with anything. The only person I interacted with was when checking out and she was incredibly rude. Best Buy used to be a fun place to go and make your big tech purchases with employees who were knowledgeable and cared about what they were doing. I guess moving forward I’ll stick to getting items delivered.

I thought getting an upgraded version was supposed to be better. I upgraded from the c2, and it had better sound quality, and it didn't randomly freeze up and restart

Tried to write a review but Best Buy deems everything I say as 'inappropriate' It was basically negative, pointing out all the bugs I have found, corrected anything derogatory, yet STILL deemed inappropriate, Bottom line is NOW, not only has LG lost any future purchases from me, so has Best Buy. Stay away from both!

super disappointed, about to take it and throw it to the ground. only 2 months of use and it no longer works $1250 in approximately in the trash. now they make pure TV garbage. I lost my money. apps don't work. It's amazing

World-class upgrade

Wow. What a difference. Our living room TV was a Panasonic Plasma we've had for 17 years -- so an upgrade seemed due. Actually, overdue. This LG Class C5 is amazing. I didn't fully appreciate it until we watched the opening ceremony of the Milan-Cortina Olympics. As the late Dick Enberg would say: "Oh, my." Now, I did quite a bit of research before purchasing this set. (I was limited to the 55" model because we have TV cabinet with closing doors to protect the TV from direct sun through clerestory windows.) This one was consistently highly rated and I can see why. Sure, a few snobbish reviewers recommended "better" sets that cost about a grand more. Seriously? Do they really believe we could identify a thousand dollars worth of difference if watching the 2 sets side-by-side? Or even know which one was pricier? I suspect the answer is no. One reviewer disliked the speakers and suggested adding a sound bar. The speakers are fine and there's no need for a sound bar (which would probably be out of sync). Do your own research and make the right decision for you. But, for what it's worth, I enthusiastically stand behind my 5-star rating. I'd give it more stars if they were available. Very highly recommended.

Cancelled order due to poor customer service in trying to coordinate delivery and setup. Absolutely know follow up from store manager as requested. I had to go to the Southridge store to communicate with a live person to get any answers.

55" LG TV Purchased with a scheduled delivery for 7/11. TV was delivered damaged and I was told that I have to take the time to reschedule another delivery. Multiple calls and delays re: inventory status of TV prevented arranging any delivery via phone. I had to return to store and arrange a new delivery for 7/18. That delivery and install remains a TBD

Impeccable Image Quality

The weakest part of the TV is the nonexistent user's manual and somewhat clunky UI. Otherwise, once youve gone online, visited youtube, and engaged in simple "hands on: use, the experience is wild. This is the best image on a television that I've owned in the past 15 years. Stock audio is crisp, with good bass response. The integration with the LG 7.1 Atmos sound bar is flawless. My two-year old Panasonic UHD player is a revelation with this TV. Dolby Vision content pops right out in the detail and color. The initial unboxing requires two people to orient and mount on the cabinet stand, which seems solid.
Using the integrated WebOS apps is far more responsive than the cable' company's external set top box.
For the price point and features, I am highly satisfied.

The installation team that subcontracts with Best Buy was a bit sketchy. One guy reeked of smoke, dirty clothes, gruff attitude, poking around my house. The other guy was pleasant. I think Best Buy could do better.
