Wel.itsnot that its too bright. It's tht there is no way to turndown the brightness enough when using the tvs apps. They seem to disregard my settings and the tv apps keep the brightness very high in the menus like Netflix, apple tv etc. I watch the tv in the dark and the menus are really blinding. So since I can't control the settings for the apps I use on my own tv I have to use the apps on my pc connected to my tv to watch the tv. The picture quality is nice. They need to make a firmware patch to fix the incredible light intensity of the apps and menus.
