I own 2 of these tvs a 55in I purchased in 2021 and a 65 in I purchased in 2018. Great picture and sound but my 55 inch only lasted 3 years before it started having power issues. So 3 outta 5 stars.

Great I guess if your a gamer. But don’t let marketing fool you. I’ve seen almost all the OLED models at friends houses, away from the showrooms. They pretty much ALL look the same. I have an “older model”, Sony A8g. Hooked up to my Panasonic 820 blu ray/onkyo receiver/Martin Logan surround sound, I have no complaints, or desire to “upgrade”.

    Buyer beware

So here is the true buyer info on this Oled tv. Great design, thin sleek, and light. Great picture, clean video, incredible blacks/ whites and colors. you will need to purchase a 4k 2.1 HDMI to get the best picture ($8-11). Buyer beware- after about 2 years of normal use the Oled started to get burn in, the burn in got bad enough that I ended up getting rid of it and going over to the Samsung 9 series. Sorry but Oled tech is pretty new and not time tested, it will not stand up to the test of time, buy something else.

Burn in only 3 years later

Bought it in 2021 for $1800 and now three years later it has a big green circle whenever the color yellow shows up, the warranty was for only two years. For it to only last 3 years is pretty bad i I have had other tv’s last for more than 10 years. Apparently it is something common with LG OLED so i wouldn’t recommend it.

TV failed, LG won't handle my call.

I purchased my TV 1.5 years ago. It has failed: First Ethernet, then shortly after that the WiFi stopped working, and now all four HDMI ports have failed too. Resetting to factory defaults did nothing, the problem isn't due to settings/software. There is a hardware fault, or maybe multiple. I called LG today, and their automated system put me on hold to wait for a rep. While on hold, it ended the call. Then I started live chat with someone at LG, and that didn't go well, so... I called again. Someone answered this time, I gave a brief description of my problem, and she put me on hold. 20 minutes later I was still on hold, so I gave up and ended the call. It seems that I'm not going to be getting help from LG. I'm a holder of the CompTIA A+ certification, so I can do my own TV repair (in most cases), but since I can't get in contact with any techs at LG, I can't speak to anyone to find out which board(s) likely failed and need to be replaced. I understand that things fail, but if you won't even take my call, I will not buy an LG product again.

Purchased this TV 2+ years ago - very expensive, so I thought I was buying quality. Now screen is going black with horizontal bands. Otherwise, was a great TV while it worked. Save your money, never had a TV that didn’t last 6-8+ years.
