The hype on this tv is true. Great quality all around. Worth the money over the competitors. I didn’t know how much I needed this tv until I watched tv and played video games on it. The absolute black is amazing. The colors are vibrant. The sound quality on the speakers is actually good for a tv. The build quality is great. The UI is great.

I purchased this tv shortly after receiving an Xbox series x. I’ve previously owned Samsung Vizio and tcl brands and the quality of this lg cx is in another league. True blacks as well as a vibrant clear color array display the best picture I’ve ever seen. A bit pricey but for a relatively future proof tv I do not regret it

This is what I’ve been missing from my video gaming and visual media streaming. 4K on an OLED is truly next level. Fits perfectly in my room and easy to set up. LG makes a fine OLED and having. HDMI 2.1 is the kicker for my I tire gaming needs. Movies and animation look out of this world on this screen. Definitely a must-buy.

Great contrast, amazing color, and advanced features like built in TV guide. I use Xfinity and the LG CX TV has a built in TV guide that is better than the cable box's. The magic remote that comes with the TV is also mind blowing. It controls my PS4, Apple TV , and sound bar without having to program anything. It's wild.

    LG CX

LG swooped in with the CX line and blew everyone away. The CX 48 supports 4:4:4 chroma with HDMI 2.1, and the GSync and FreeSync Premium Pro compatibility is unprecedented in a display with these specs (irrespective of whether TV or dedicated computer monitor). HDR is also brilliant with OLED and miles beyond even what the very best IPS or VA computer monitorscan offer today. Latency and pixel response times are unbelievably low and in-line with dedicated 120Hz computer gaming displays. It's a Swiss Army knife for computer use. If you use some resizing and desktop management utilities you can cut out several multi-resolution windows for productivity, and carve out 32" 1440p or ~41" 1440p widescreen windows for very immersive gaming (or just kick back and enjoy fullscreen 4K a bit further away if wall-mounted or using a controller). A black desktop background, auto-hiding taskbars and screensaver timers are your friends for keeping the burn-in at bay. If you play games in windowed mode, you can also shift the windows a tiny bit with each play to prevent any persistent UI elements from burning into the panel.

Hands down the most amazing picture I've ever seen. We bought it to use with the PS5 since it has a HDMI 2.1 port and 120 HZ for gaming. With some of the apps that use 4k it is absolutely stunning. We got the 55" because it was actually cheaper than the same TV in 48". We plan on getting another one for our bedroom.

My 5 year old plasma died (I loved it for the black it produced vs. LED) and after a ton of research, I chose this one. It’s NOT cheap but, the color, the depth, the contrast and dark levels take this unit to a whole nother level!! If you’re thinking of stepping up to the “big leagues” I highly recommend this TV..... worth every penny

This LG CX is by far the best TV I have ever owned. The perfect black levels and contrast make the picture look incredible. This TV also has G-Sync and Freesync Premium built in creating an awesome gaming experience. The UI is also very quick and Snappy. Overall this TV is great and I highly recommend it if you want the best of the best.

Hands down the best gaming tv available. With that being said I want anyone reading this review to carefully do their research before purchasing. If you’re looking for a living room tv for sports and shows the Sony X900H is probably the better option but if you want smooth pristine gaming with little to no input lag this is what you want. Cleanest blacks smoothing picture and has multiple hdmi 2.1’s which also supports eArc for HD audio. VRR is touchy since it’s a new feature this tv isn’t the best at it but eventually with firmware updates they’ll be able to remedy the problem until new displays release but honestly it’s too much of a new feature to worry about it now. Overall this is a great buy you won’t regret it.

EXCELLENCE - Bass is better than some have said

This TV is simply outstanding. The image quality is unlike any other I've seen with TRUE blacks creating an amazing amount of contrast and beautiful colors. It also gets plenty bright for me given I'm in a man cave with only 1 window near the tv. I personally have not experienced any reflection issues. I've seen some complaining about the sound quality from the tv, in particular the bass, but I have to disagree heavily.....the built in speakers boast a surprising amount of low end. If you want bass that is going to rattle your body you will need a system with a subwoofer, so anyone saying the bass in this tv isn't enough must want their tv to weight 200 pounds with a built in sub! I was ready to hear this terrible bass that some spoke of and was pleasantly surprised. For gaming, the main reason I got it, this TV IS AWESOME! Gamers get it and you won't be disappointed. With 4 HDMI 2.1 ports that can support up to 8k 30FPS and 4K 120 FPS this is a unit that is INSANELY future-proof. All in all, I have 0 complaints about this tv. If you're considering this tv, do yourself a favor, stop considering and go get it now!

I specifically purchased this TV for next gen gaming. LG did not disappoint at all! I had a 2018 QLED from Samsung and this blew it out of the water. I enjoy every feature on this TV not just gaming. LG has produced the best Image I've ever seen through this TV. Do not hesitate on purchasing for the PS5 or Xbox Series X.

The TV I Chose to buy

This is a fantastic TV. Picture is sharp and clear especially with 4K content. It also does a good job with lower resolution content. To my eyes picture is more natural than Sony and especially Samsung TVs. The Smart TV system (WebOS) is the best out of the available systems. Being OLED it also has potential downsides. Burn in and some black crush are a couple of examples. In the end only you can decide. Decide what is important to you, do your research and buy what looks best to you. This is the 3rd LG OLED in my family. The other 2 are a 2017 B7 and a 2018 C8. Good luck

Stunningly beautiful picture. Deep dark blacks (and invisible letterboxing!) make movie watching feel like… the movies. The UI is good and I appreciate LG’s attention to detail with webOS. A couple software issues that need to be fixed (an annoying audio clipping bug right now) but I trust that LG will fix it soon.

I love this TV, but i must give it an Average performance on Principle. This is the 2020 pinnacle of OLED performance. Good signal processing, good out of the box color, perfect blacks, everything you need in a 4K set (HDMI 2.2, VRR [unused], eARC), Dolby Vision standard (no HDR10+ but is slowly entering irrelevance). Accepts Calman at Home Calibration (if you have the materials and are a DIY person) Acceptable bright room performance. Horrible design, good to look at, bad to live with. Tv speakers are ok, but if you buy a sound bar you need to wall mount, or get a riser. The stand is secure, but horrible with a bar. WEBOS is good, Magic Remote is quirky, effective but unnecessary. Screen is razor thin, i felt a little thicker and it wouldn't feel so fragile. Black crush is real, this TV needs a dark room to come alive, and if you like a bright "STORE DISPLAY" image, get a Samsung

First and foremost, I never liked LED TVs. I have a 720p, non HDR plasma TV that has excellent picture quality but wanted to upgrade. But plasma technology is irrelevant now, so moving on. The LG CX has amazing picture quality, especially when watching 4k or Dolby Vision content. The image is sharp and detailed, black levels aren't dull, and the colors pop. The 2.2 channel sound is also satisfying even with 'Clear Voice' setting. With Dolby Atmos, the internal speakers slightly enhance the surround sound feel. Overall, this is a great TV.

I bought this for my boyfriend for our game room. It’s absolutely amazing. The colors are so vibrant and clear. The black cut screens are 100% black it looks like it’s off. The movies we watch also look the best on this tv. I’ll definitely be getting a second one to upgrade my gaming tv before our new consoles get here.

Great picture and lots of features! Super easy to pull up apps such as Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc...I also simply told it that I had Uverse and it adjusted setting itself, no finding which remote code to use on Uverse remote for when I use it. The included remote is the perfect size and fairly simple,

This tv is amazing. The difference in the color tone and quality along with the visual fidelity from my previous 4k TCL non oled makes it feel like I should have invested the money earlier. Oleds are deffinately more expensive then a non oled but its worth the money. I cant imagine ever getting a non oled tv now.
