Mind = blown
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can i say about this tv that hasn't already been said by countless reviewers is the hard part. Going into this tv i need it would likely have a noticeable picture quality improvement over my tcl series 4 it replaced but I never expected to be truly blown away. Games and movies are like totally new with this. Every detail stands out, even many I previously didn't know were there. This tv is a must have for any gamer or avid movie watcher. Only complaints i have is i wish it was a little brighter but it still looks more so than my previous tv and isn't as bad as some make it out to be. I'm using in a moderately bright rooms with no issues. Also the web os is kinda meh. It works ok but isn't on level with say roku os. But thats a easy fix.

It takes some adjustments but the set is amazing,
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It takes some adjustments but the set is amazing, I bought this tv because it’s close to going to the theater with its HDR and Dolby Vision playback. The 120htz is a bonus for gaming. The only reason why I left one start off is if you connect Bluetooth headphones or speakers to the set, and not a different device, there are some major sync issues that LG knows about but still have not updated.

OLED. The Plasma Replacement!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OLED, otherwise known as a the only worthwhile replacement for Plasma. After owning 3 Plasma TV’s over the years, I knew it was time to take the plunge into the world of HDR. Note I say HDR and not 4K. After trying a LG Nanocell for one evening which left us utterly disappointed, we waited until the LG CX 55 came back into stock. Got it and it was love at first sight. For the next few days I just sat and watched whatever HDR content I could find. Surprisingly even in bright daylight conditions this display sings, but really comes into its own when the lights go away and Movie Time starts. I added some LED backlighting to the back panel and oh my, we have entered a new realm of visual delight. The real kicker is that 1080i/p looks like 1080 so the scaler gets a huge thumbs up.

Excellent picture quality
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned an LG OLED for a couple of years and it developed slight "screen burn" along the bottom. Not bad and most people wouldn't notice it, but I knew it was there. Having owned a Samsung in the past, I decided to go back and try a Q70. I only kept it a week. I never could get it adjusted to match the picture quality of the LG. It just would not reproduce the sharp facial tones like the LG. I returned it after a week and got another LG OLED. I was not disappointed. The new LG did not disappoint. The picture was far superior to the Samsung. It was more expensive than the Samsung but well worth the difference in price to me. I highly recommend the LG OLED.

Never going back...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once you go OLED, you never go back. I don't really know what to say. The screen looks amazing from every angle. One complaint I had with a different OLED TV was how it handled motion. But the LG processor makes the motion great. My biggest complaint is that I used to love playing around with all the TV Picture Settings to find the perfect one, and on my old TV they never looked good. But on the LG, playing with settings is always boring and pointless.... because they look good no matter which one I pick! Obviously I'm just being a little funny here. Only problem is that it was hard to get - I had to order online and then drive 80 miles to pick up. But I heard it was so amazing I still went for it ------ and I am so happy I did!

The best OLED
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This LG OLED looks so good on my Xbox and PS4. Can’t wait to see how this looks with PS5 and Xbox series x. The blacks when watching movies in Dolby vision looks so good. Beat tv out there. I can’t never go back to LCD after OLED

Best TV I’ve owned yet.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this TV. Have it paired with an Apple TV for all my streaming content and connected to my PC (RX 6800 XT) for gaming. Works great. Can’t wait to pair it with the X Box Series X under the tree. Samsung to LG convert.

Great for HDR Gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setting this up alone was very annoying and stressful and some screw holes just did not line up so I highly recommend getting best buy to do it for you. I use this TV for gaming with an RTX 3080 with a 40ft active HDMI 2.1 cable. Works like a dream and I'm able to get full speeds with no issues on port 2, not sure about the others. HDR games like Gears 5, Mass Effect, Borderlands 3, etc look incredible on this screen. I will say that the screen is ridiculously reflective and glare can be quite annoying sometimes. The TV is able to get quite bright to the point that strobing lights in games are an epilepsy danger to even those without a seizure history. However, it definitely feels like the sustained brightness could be better.

Wow what a TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality is amazing. Took the leap to OLED and so glad I did. East to set up and options are fantastic. Not able to go to movie theaters in 2020 this TV makes up for that with picture quality and the sound is great

You need this one
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best TV I've ever owned. Its beautiful and unlike a lot of other cheaper TVs the built in sound is really good without a sound bar - I still bought one cause why have just really good sound with an amazing picture, I waned amazing with amazing. It has google assistant and Alexa support and well just read the specs. Its a darn good picture. Don't bother with the GX unless you're " that person" who has to have it just because the price is higher. There are A LOT of settings here so IMHO plan on spending time getting familiar with them. Also, get the Total Tech Support package because in a few months you're gonna want to have the color perfectly calibrated. It is great out of the box but again, we're buying amazing so spend the little extra to make it the best it possibly can be.

AMAZING TV (I hate WebOS though)
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to every other TV I have, the picture quality is amazing. I have it in my upstairs living room that's usually darker than the main living room and the watching experience is amazing! If you could find things to watch that utilizes all it's features (HDR, Dolby Vision), you'll be very surprised. Only thing I despise about it is WebOS. Because of it, I decided to add a shield TV Pro to replace the built-in apps.

Best TV on the market
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second OLED TV --my first was an LGE6-- and is being put in an office in order to give my household a second large screen to play videogames, and stream content services like Netflix, Youtube TV, and Disney+. What can I say that hasn't been said about this TV? The picture is amazing and it comes in an ever increasingly great package. The biggest downside to these TVs is the internal audio, but this is an issue with all modern televisions. At some point, I wish they'd just not put audio in these panels and pass the savings onto the consumer so that I can put that money towards a quality soundbar. I absolutely believe that you have the money and want the best TV, this is it. The higher tier LG models are almost certainly not worth the extra money at this point.

Best OLED on the market
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV supersedes all of my expectations. I will never go back to a regular TV ever again. Amazing picture, popping colors, smooth motion and extremely low input lag. Only complaint is I didn’t buy one sooner!

Everything I hoped for.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv itself is amazing with a vivid picture and even the built in speakers are decent quality even though I use a sound bar with it. The LG interface is very nice and intuitive. I’ve used Samsung/apple tv and now this interface. I’d say it’s the 2nd best to only the Apple TV’s but works like a better version of the Samsung/android interface. The only gripe I really have is with the set up. I’d highly recommend wall mounting it because the standing mount doesn’t seem very stable for a $1500 tv. Also for a product that says “don’t squeeze/pinch the screen to avoid damage” it’s literally impossible to NOT do that during the set up since there isn’t any type of rim or border on the tv to handle it by other than where the mount attaches.

Stunning Image
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv paired with the PS5 is like the mac and cheese touching the candied yams! The image is stunning. The blacks are pure. Watched Tenet and everything was so clear. John David Washington's beard was so moisturized.
