Love the TV and the color and clarity. It is not compatible with Comcast! Which no one told me despite asking me what I usually watch which is cable TV via Comcast Xfinity. This means that the fancy remote does not work for me except to turn the power on and off and volume. Otherwise, we have to use our old remote. The reason I bought this was because OLED is better for our eyes than any other current tech. Eliminating blue light and improving sleep for my family is important to me. I'm also seeing writing this review that there has been a price drop since my purchase. Hmmm. Overall, quality TV.

Have purchased previous generations of Oled tvs from LG and Sony. They keep getting better. I would say the most obvious improvement is the CX is brighter and has a better processor for non 4k material. They all look good with 4k, but this model improves on the motion and upscaling for non 4k. The A9G Sony and this model seem quite similar in that regard.

This TV was worth spending extra money on. The picture with its deep blacks and bright colors is unmatched. The sound is the best I have heard from any TV since the switch to flat screens. There is enough bass to enjoy, without too much thump to annoy the wife.

This is by far the best tv I have ever owned. Picture quality is out of this world! Sound quality is amazing; it honestly sounds like it has a built in sound bar. I dont think I’ll own another non LG tv ever again. Coming from someone who has had 2 Sony, and 4 Samsung TV’s. This is my second LG and they are THE BEST!

We have never bought ourselves a new TV, we've always gotten them as hand-me-downs from family and friends. When we finally decided to splurge, we wanted something really amazing, and this fit the bill! Absolutely gorgeous picture quality, slim frame, and edgeless design make this TV fantastic in every way. The app integration works flawlessly as well.

Really a great TV. Coming from an 11-year-old 50" 1080p plasma, this 55" CX is the same size but a huge improvement in video clarity. Upscaling is terrific, even for cable channels. It's shocking. I'm not sure how to get 4K content that doesn't break the bank. I've got a 4K drive in my desktop and I learned that 4K takes gobs of storage space -- about 60GB per hour of content. That means it also takes gobs of bandwidth to download, even if you have somewhere to save it. The webOS is excellent. Easy to use. I still connected my Intel NUC (tiny PC) up to it, but the NUC is no longer needed for most entertainment. One interesting thing is that you can plug in a USB drive with videos into the TV and it will play them. This may not impress anyone else, but it's new to me! I can see that this would be a great gaming monitor, but I don't want to move my giant desktop to the family room, where the sound system is. Maybe get a PS5, which is supposed to have a new Radeon card that's equivalent to an RTX 2070, but that's not really enough for 4K. Hmmm... So the 55CX is great for upscaling, the webOS is excellent, and I recommend it.

This TV is amazing! The clarity and the super thin screen and the sound and options on this tv makes it one of the best OLED TVs around! Game mode on the ps5 omg it looks so perfect and you definitely get the 120hz on it. All hdmi ports are 2.1 and setup was easy!

This TV works flawlessly. I purchased it because of its 120HZ capability and compatibility with my Nvidia Graphics card in my PC. Works great and looks great. I can run games at 120FPS with 0 Screen Tearing all from the comfort of my couch…. Awesome for casual gamers or those looking for a family friendly PC setup.

Ordered TV on line after reviewing several brands of similar quality and decided the LG was the one I wanted. It was delivered on the day promised and was easy to assemble. Fortunately I had someone to help. The walk through instruction was easy to use for setting up the TV. Picture quality is great and am happy with purchase.

We had an LG TV which was at least 15-20 years old and it needed replacement. We were very happy with the brand and wanted to stick with the same. We chose this slightly larger smarter model and couldn’t be happier. It is difficult to go through a global pandemic without a great TV.

We love our new LG-55" OLED We have a hearth room in our kitchen witch has been a problem with the sound quality in the past due to commotion in the kitchen. The sales men at our Sherriville IN Best Buy listened to our need and go us in the perfect TV. The picture on this TV is wonderful but the sound it puts out is awesome!

This is the best TV I’ve ever owned. If you’re hesitating about the price, go for it. It’s basically OLED or nothing. We got it for regular entertainment and for gaming after purchasing an Xbox Series X. You’re going to love it. The LG operating system takes some getting used to, but like anything you’ll get used to it eventually.
