    This tv bricked in 10 months. Doesn't turn on while just flickering lights. Bad capacitor issue, under the warranty but I've never had any LCD brick on me so quickly.

    I was excited to explore LG's latest evo technology on the OLED55G1 evo. Unfortunately, I only got to see the standby light (on solid) and the unit would never power on. Very sad for the leader in OLED. (Maybe they need to improve their QC...)

    Died after 1 1/2 years I have had other LG Oled tvs and lasted but not this one.

    TV completely failed after 5 weeks. Turned itself off and won’t turn back on. Waiting to hear from LG about a repair or replacement. Very disappointed.

    Got TV with broken screen, no picture at all, Store is not taking back and LG only provided expertise. Horrible experience

    Power supply broke after 2 months. My only option is to repair it. Not reccomended. Huge waste of money.

    Beautiful TV, great contrast, very clever mounting

    Very high quality picture with lots of contrast as you'd expect from OLED. The available art is very nice but limited quantity. Most images include a very realistic looking frame and matte that coordinate well with the art itself. The very thin bezel and very thin TV depth result in very impressive framed art. The included wall mount is very easy to install on to two studs of 16" spacing. Not sure why one user review had a problem with his. And even once the TV is on the mount it can be easily pushed all the way to the wall and even still rotated slightly to make it perfectly level. Very clever mounting arrangement. Definitely would buy again, maybe I'd get the next larger model next time.

    I would gave the LG Tv 5 stars for picture quality. But zero stars for the user interface. The operation of the device is a difficult interface to get to work with. I find myself turning it off to do other things instead of enjoying it at times. Compared to other TVs I have used like Samsung the LG is a jumble. The interface makes simple tasks difficult. It is a shame such a great picture is so difficult to get to.

    Superior TV for Sports

    Fantastic TV but had to work with my cable provider and adjust the settings on the TV to obtain ultimate 4K picture. I ordered table top stands (LG) through a third party but they did not fit properly without a few modifications (mount tabs didn't line up). It would have been nice if Best Buy had the proper stands in stock. But the TV is absolutely perfect.

    High black levels at expense of natural skin tones and detail. $100.00 dollars for a pair of legs is absurd. This tv can’t compare to the picture processing quality of the Sony A80j. The UI is irritating to say the least. The remote buttons need more space between them to lessen the chance of pressing the wrong button. I haven’t found a way to view the effects of picture setting changes as they’re being made. Doesn’t work well with non-LG Bluetooth devices. I’m not a gamer but 4 HDMI 2.1 is good, as are the wide viewing angles. The G1 looks good though.

    Really Good — But

    The TV itself is excellent but I bought for its WEB O/S and it’s ability to connect to a Bluetooth keyboard. The O/S works well but connecting the keyboard is not intuitive and flaky at best.

    No good for Dolby Vision

    There is a lot of Dolby Vision content out there now and the G1 cannot playback this content well - it is just too dark. I also find the the picture not to be as sharp as my older TV's. Web OS use to be a good platform, however, it is now a sluggish mess.

    I have never been more disappointed in a piece of technology, and that's saying a lot. I do IT work and couldn't make it functional after 12 cumulative hours of work. My guess is a firmware glitch. BUT even if it worked perfectly, the gallery function does not allow for custom photos to be uploaded, making it functionally useless. The sales people at best buy lied about this to get me to buy the TV and now I have to go thru all the trouble of returning it. Terrible.
