I have not gotten it calibrated yet and I already love it! The screen is a perfect size and the colors and definition are very good. The remote that comes with it is easy to use and it's great having my Roku as part of the package. When I first needed a little help with the operation of it, I called technical support and they were great! Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Never owned a 4K HDR TV before. Was just stunned by the 4K picture. TV is loaded with apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube, etc. You can also download more apps to it like Spotify which we run through our 2.5 set-up. Sounds great. I'm pretty geeky with gadgets and stuff but still had trouble getting the LG account working with the Google Assistant. If they could make that process easier, I'd give 5 stars.

Vivid color, great size, smart functions, no problems thus far except a tip for new buyers.... If you ever expect to be able to Bluetooth your headphones to the tv they MUST be LG. I found out the hard way. But the tv itself is awesome!

We've had very good luck with LG in the past so when it came time for a new TV in the spare room decided to go with another LG. Our brand "V" tv that was in prior only lasted 2 years. Actually this unit is probably overkill for what it's used for. Picture is excellent, apps are user friendly, overall seems to be a very good purchase.

The LG 55" Class LED sk8000 2160p was an high quality unit at a very affordable price. I love all the picture options it offers and the ability to browse the web or change the channel just by speaking at the TV is very cool. Its a smart Tv with HDR so your options for what you want to watch are virtually unlimited. I love this TV.

This TV replaced a 50" 1080 P Samsung that we had had for five years. I really was surprised at the improvement in the picture and sound quality. The point and click feature on the remote is great for initial setup. Almost as good as a Qwerty keyboard. I still use the STB remote for daily use though, as my wife and I are more accustomed to it.

Overall, this TV is pretty good. Easy to set up, good quality picture and audio and easy to use - my 6 year old figured it out without much supervision. My only gripe is the operating system and the remote control layout. It's clunky at best. Overall quality is equal to the Sony's in the household but miles behind Android TV OS as far as operation or app selection.

The picture is just amazing. Im very happy with it. I can do so much on it. It has a place for pictures and videos. The remote can move around the screen like a mouse. I can hit the home button and have my hulu, youtube, prime video, and all my hdmi hookups in the order i want on the screen. One of the best purchases i could have gotten.

I purchased this TV for my 'man cave' also known as the garage. So, I didn't want to go full OLED but wanted a smart TV with a great picture. I am glad I purchased this model. It was relatively inexpensive but looks fantastic with a couple of tweaks. True 4K content on this TV through Fire TV looks great. Considering the low cost, this TV is a good buy.

Great quality picture and great sound. Attached to wall & no sound bar is necessary for us! Very easy to set up. Remote has Amazon button for easy use. I only wish it had Adobe Flash, so I could watch shows directly on XFINITY. (have to watch on Computer and link it to LG TV - which requires couple additional steps) GREAT TV for the $$

    Troublesome

Pros: Must say 1st, haven't seen picture in UHD, however, but all sources upscaled from 1080i and 1080p are very good, motion handling is very good for sports. Built in speakers provide decent sound for programs such as news, but not for movies and such. Cons: Big number one...sound sync, whether through home theater or TV's own speakers. It will work fine for a few hours of the TV's "on time", but after that (roughly 4 hours), the sound gets out of sync with the picture. If you change any setting, whether changing input source, sound settings, whatever, it will resync for a time again. This must be something LG knows about because there is setting for AV sync in the sound menu. Obviously this doesn't work on my set. I have never had a problem such as this in the past or present with any other TV doing this! Very disappointed! Number 2...the remote. Works fine for the TV but very limited in the control of other devices, such as the DVR, Bluray player, etc. Does have a play and pause button for playback of other devices, but not a stop or fast forward/reverse button??? Third...Will not turn on other devices through the HDMI CEC when changing inputs. It will turn them off when turning the TV off. Again never a problem with other TVs. Fourth...May be a big problem for some, the remote is RF (radio signal) only, not IR (infrared) as most remotes are. This means you will need more than 1 remote even if you have a universal remote such as the Harmony brand used to control 99% of all devices. And this is very aggravating since the TV will not turn on other devices through the HDMI CEC function as it should. Fifth...lack of an even semi-decent included instruction manual. You must go online to LG's website to get the complete manual for this TV. Seventh... the OTA tuner is very weak and I've yet to find a signal meter in the menu. When setting up, ALL of the local TV station signals register from a medium to weak signal. All other tuning receivers (TV, OTA DVR) I have register from very strong to medium off of the same line for the same channels. And finally, you must allow permissions to invade your privacy (basically spy on you) for almost any of the "smart" functions to function. LG's privacy policy if you are connected to the internet, allows them to give your viewing/actions info to third parties! Not good, especially if you use the DNLA feature to playback video, music, etc. from your computer. Since it's now past the 15 day return policy from Best Buy, I am stuck with this LG product and will have to deal with LG for repairs or fixes. By the way, it's already done two updates since setting up 20 days ago. Needless to say, I cannot recommend this TV to anyone unless you like the problems I've listed above.

Needed a tv that was big but pretty light to hang onto the wall and has very good resolution for streaming and gaming. This tv fits the bill. Very easy to set up and it has worked great so far. Haven’t had any issues to mention. For color mode, I set it to cinema, the colors aren’t as vivid as other modes but I like it like that.

This tv has a stunning picture quality, amazing applications and quick and easy setup. I have mine paired with an Apple TV 4k to enable the Dolby Vision. You are absorbed into the image on screen so needless to say if you tell your friends you just purchased one of these you’ll be hosting the future movie night!

Love LG the tv has a great picture and very good sound . It looks great and has great viewing angles the picture stays bright and clear. I feel it’s the best picture quality you can get other than oled. The magic remote and ease of use is fantastic. This is my 5th LG tv and will continue to purchase in future.

Decent TV for the money spent...under $600. It us my 3rd flat screen, the first 2 being plasma type (&3D) were "warmer" pictures, but this LG had the best specs for the money. Still learning the Smart features. I anticipate cutting the cord and go to more streaming services, and find the remote interactivity fairly easy to navigate. One concern, (feedback PLEASE) is when the screen goes black with only the image of words, the word field has a pale glow. Is this normal? That never happened with the previous 2 TV's (Panasonic..Samsung respectively). As for delivery & installation, this was the first TV I had mounted to the wall above my 5ft entertainment center, and it went smoothly. The two Geek Squad agents that visited to do the work were fast & efficient. Extremely happy with their service!!! They did try to upsell me on the mounting hardware, and I wish I'd done so, even though the fixed amount version is working out just fine. I was very happy with their work! They even programmed my cable remote so I could start watching the set immediately. Overall, with the exception of my earlier technical question, I am fairly satisfied with my selection & experience with Best Buy.

Pros Great resolution when the content is available. Good picture. (After you turn off the power saving features) The power saving features have to be turned off for this TV to be usable. There are two locations. The settings menu and then the picture mode. I chose one of the expert picture modes which looked great. Cons Default power saving features make the picture look horrible. Light bleed in each corner. The power saving features have to be turned off for this TV to be usable. See pros for more details. LG is doing themselves a disservice by having the power saving features on by default. My first reaction to the picture was not a happy one. All four corners have a bit of light bleed that lightens the picture in that area. It is most noticeable during dark scenes. It is something I have gotten used to. Other Thoughts I cannot comment on the "smart" software of the TV. I use an Nvidia Shield TV. I purchased this TV to replace a failing 11 year-old Samsung Touch of Red 1080p LCD TV. Apart from the resolution difference, the much older Samsung 1080p TV had a better picture. After I move, I am going to give this TV to the kids and shell out even more money for a higher end TV.

TV works well for movies, decent for video games. The local dimming leaves much to be desired, however, so for dark games and scenes you will need a dark room to get a decent picture out of it. For the price it has excellent picture quality with good color.
