Abysmal brightness

brightness is not good

One issue that I’m having is the picture contrast and brightness. This tv has some kind of light censor that increase or decrease the brightness and that is an issue and I do not like it.

Terrible backlight!! So bad!

From day 1 all the dark scenes have terrible white “flashlighting“ shooting across the screen. I am so disappointed with this TV, the LG - 55" Class - LED - SK8000 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR TV. I read several of the reviews so I purchased it. Dark scenes look absolutely terrible. This TV was a secondary TV for us so I didn’t bother returning it because I had so many other delivery issues with BestBuy that I didn’t even want to exchange it. It is the worst TV I own. I have an LG 4K TV in my living that is 4 years old and was a cheap Black Friday deal that looks way better than this thing. So dissatisfied. And BestBuy reviews are an absolute joke. Mine is accurate, but many of the 5-star reviews are garbage and intentionally misleading. The BestBuy review system is completely inflated. Don’t believe me?? Compare their overall review ratings and reviews for just about any product to other review platforms. Inflategate. Does the Kraft family own part of BestBuy, too? BestBuy, fix your online reputation policies. You intentionally skew your reviews high. I manage online reputations for a living. You are so fake. Will stick with your honest competitors.

If the Bottom right hand corner would had something white the entire right side would bloom white. I returned this after 2 days

Nice design, good picture but dropped internet

Remote troubles

Poor side viewing

Takes over 20 minutes to load a movie trailer if your lucky. Most time it just times out. On other tv’s in house there were no issues. Side viewing on this tv is of little value. If you need to view from side find another tv. I had visited the store three times talking to the geek squad and sales. Tried numerous recommendations it just was not worth the hassle. Returned this tv and bought a Samsung. It works great. Would not recommend this tv at all.

Decent picture

Need more time

Sometimes the TV is to smart for You.

Still the remote isnot working. This TV also isnot working with internet, so forget watching stuffs online , better use your phone or computer, Last night the TV turn off and on by it self and suddenly after 3 th times it turned off and I couldnt turn it on and after trying unplugging many times I turned it on but with black screen. LG technical support played with us gave us stupid direction by buying new remote and bring the internet close to tv and bunch of stupid nonsense information. DONOT BUY THIS TV OR ANY OTHER LG PRODUCTS
