Was excellent TV, Tremendous picture, easy to operate and connect to Internet and stream programs and movies. Measured twice to fit in area over fireplace, able to get all measurements of TV physical size off the web page.

Love this TV. I've always been a Sony guy, but this was an excellent alternative for a second TV. Beautiful picture, very cool features (bells and whistles), and love the remote. Great price point too....very happy so far.

Amazing picture! This tv is more than we ever thought it could be. The picture is so vivid and clear. Color is realistic. We compared many and this is definitely the winner!

The picture quality is awesome and it has many many options most of which I haven't even been able to use yet! Love the magic wand remote control and the fact I can browse the internet on the TV if needed!

Replaced a 10 year old LCD and wow! Great picture, Ai os is cool remote is gesture based so there is a learning curve. Love that some of connections are side based so you can make connections after installation.

I was looking for a 4K UHD TV and this time around I wanted to go with something that wasn't a low-end Black Friday special like the 6000 series TV's or lower quality brands like Hisense, Sharp, Insignia, etc. I also wanted a current 2018 TV. I narrowed my options down to this LG SK8000 or a Samsung NU8000 in my price range. To be honest I'm not really sure which TV I like more, I went with this LG because I found the design more aesthetically pleasing as well as I love the user interface of this TV along with the smart "air gesture" remote, it basically acts like a computer mouse and is very accurate and smooth. I also liked the Google integration compared to the Samsung that relies on Bixby, I have Samsung phones and pretty much buy Samsung everything but I HATE this Bixby thing that Samsung is forcing down everyone's throats. Now here's where I'm still unsure whether going with the LG over the Samsung was the right decision. While I prefer nearly every aspect of the LG over the Samsung I have noticed that the LG does not handle blacks and whites nearly as well as the Samsung does, commonly pointed out by tech review websites as well. At times, especially gaming, during dark scenes the screen is almost TOO dark to the point I cannot see anything at all. I have noticed if I turn the HDR off on my PS4 the darkness goes away and I can see again so I'm not sure if it's the TV poorly producing the dark scenes and required detail or if this is just a thing 4K/HDR TV's do (this is my first 4K). I've only had the TV for a couple days and am still playing with the video settings. I will continue to update this review as I try to adjust the TV. For now I would not recommend this TV as I've found it pretty frustrating at times trying to see what's going on during dark scenes or dark moments in video games. I may exchange it for the 8k series Samsung.

I like the TV very much. The picture is sharp and the sound is good. I hate the Google Assistant that pops up at the most inopportune times. I'm also not a fan of the laser pointer. But those are minor inconveniences.

This tv has a phenomenal picture, excellent contrast, and color. This is used as a computer monitor primarily for gaming. Its audio decoder supports most major sound formats and does include both ARC hdmi, and optical sound passthrough, if you want to use an amplifier in a surround system. Overall, I'd recommend, especially at the sale price I was able to purchase at. However, while it is a '120hz' panel, don't expect 4k at that refresh rate, anything above 1080p is restricted to 60hz maximum, and overclocking the panel has proven impossible. Still, one of the few 120hz tv's that has a great picture and most of the features you'd want in a mostly gaming setup.

Read and thought for a while between a HD TV with or without the OLEO technique within my budget. After knowing 5 G TV devices are already available in China and that 6G ones are currently researched, I decided for a good 4G not as expensive as an OLEO. After further search and great advice from the Best Buy people I settle for the LG 8000 model, and I do not regret it. One caveat: the speed of bites' transmission to the TV influences the HD image quality: when connected to a cable transmission it significantly improved (from better definition where the focus of the camera was to an all screen great definition!).
