    Beautiful Experience

Picture is fantastic in all lighting conditions. Color is richer than I expected. I love the small bezel on this TV. Super thin LED would hang nicely on the wall, though I left mine on the included stands and I love it that way too. This TV checks ALL of the boxes which are important to me. The only negative I have found is the response time of the TV when changing inputs seems to be delayed. To be clear...NOT the response time inside of a program...that is lightning quick and I never see pixelation. In fact it is quite difficult to even find a true 120Hz 4K TV at the price this one is delivered at. Maybe its the TV's CPU lagging...seems like it has to "think" too much before it responds to a new input. Overall this tiny negative doesn't effect my experience. So, this is a Fantastic TV at an incredible value!

I returned this tv because the back light bleeding was so bad that it made me angry. LG has come along way to fail on their displays. I do not recommend.

Picture on this tv is so crisp and so clear it wants to suck you in and dont let you leave your seat. Im not big on tv's but buying this tv i just want to watch whatever is on because of the amazing picture. The design and thin frame look on this unit look very stylish and sleek. Sound is also good on this tv. Setup is super easy and it takes like 3-5 minutes. it has many apps but i have not explored smart part of this tv yet . its got full web browser and once you connect wireless(usb) mouse to it surfing and browsing internet appears to be very easy . I really cant see how much or what more can you get buy paying 500 , thousand or more for those more expensive units. Again , i dont know if its because its 4k tv but picture on this tv is simply amazing !!

I recently had a TV I purchased from best buy 2 years ago that broke in the panel a chip fried and ruined the picture. Thank God I bought the 5 year warranty highly recommend that. So on 4/22/2017 I was interested into up grading my TV since best buy refunded me on my old TV. This TV is great the picture quality is excellent the smart TV applications are really easy to use and the stereo speakers on it are great when watching movies. It's just a great TV all around.

Great Tv; do your homework first though!

I have to start by saying I appreciate Best Buy being one of the few merchants that still hires workers who can tell you about the products they sell. Awesome! I replaced a 7 year old 47''LG, 1080p LCD TV with this new UHD model mainly for two reasons: To have better connectivity to the web without using roku or apple player and for the UHD clarity. I will start there. The UHD picture is absolutely, stunningly gorgeous. It's vivid, sharp detail and rich colors are intoxicating. In fact, the UHD content is so enamoring that I re-watched the entire last season of 'Orange' because most content out there is not shot in UHD. I mean it, the picture quality is undeniably better on this tv than the one I replaced which gives it high marks there. As for the internet connectivity, which makes it 'smart', I am equally pleased. To be fair, it's the usual culprit of apps like Hulu, Netflix, Youtube, and the like, but to get to them in just a click or two is so awesome. As well, toggling back and forth between those apps and live TV is wonderfully seamless so you never have to worry with commercials. Best part is it keeps you at the point in whatever program/app you were in. My daughter loves watching her cartoons on this TV as the colors always seems to transfix her for the time she's tuned in(she's one) We have it in a medium sized family room that is attached to a dining area and the sound seems to envelop the space nicely. This TV is also very slim, about half the thickness of the one it replaced so it would likely wall-mount very nicely and be semi flush with the wall. We have it on a stand currently. So my biggest gripe -and this is why I said do your homework - is the number of input ports. The tv has two or three HDMI ports but only one set of connectors for other AV equipment. This means if you have say, a dvr, dvd, blue-ray, gaming console and any other AV equipment that isn't HDMI, you can only use them one at a time. It doesn't seem a big deal but having to get up and change the ports from DVR to Blue Ray or Blue Ray to PS4 every single time gets old really, really fast. With how careless kids sometimes are, I shudder to think of the parent whose child is back there tinkering with the tv on a semi-daily basis. There really aren't very many other drawbacks, for one I would have hoped for a traditional base as opposed to the two legs the tv sits on. Haven't had a tipping problem yet but it's always in the back of my mind. Also, you should really spend 15-30 minutes in the store truly looking at the TV. The color is so rich that it can at times seem artificial until you've gotten used to it. My wife thought she hated it at first. Other than that, my family has been pleased as punch with this new TV and I believe most people would be too. However, if you know you will be attaching many other AV devices then be sure that this TV will serve you as dutifully as you need it to.

I read many reviews online and was a little hesitant at first but just went for it since you cant really tell how this TV will perform until you get it in your home. After calibrating the TV I think the picture is pretty incredible comparing to my old 46" Sharp Aquos. 4K UHD content from Netflix and YouTube look amazing. BluRay, HD Plex (from Apple TV) movies look incredible. Decent HD cable signals look great. Personally, nothing against 4K UHD, but its difficult to tell the quality difference of 4K UHD and a Blu Ray movie when sitting at the ideal viewing distance from a 55" TV. If you are standing a foot away from the screen though, 4K content is absolutely gorgeous. The same is true if you were standing 5 feet away from a smart phone with/without a retina screen. Now hold that same phone a foot away from your face... yes the text is more clear. Just use some common sense here. I will say the feeds at stores are a bit dull and its impossible to tell differences when the TVs viewing angle in stores aren't realistic, settings are super blown out and you are surrounded by florescent lighting. For the price, take this TV home, set it up, run it through some basic calibration, turn off all the fancy picture settings (that most times make your picture worse), turn the backlight down when viewing in complete darkness and enjoy a stunning picture. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. These people are lazy, rely on default settings, putting a lamp in front of the TV and wondering why there is refelction or are thinking they should be getting the same quality as a $9,000 OLED display.

After spending quite a bit of time researching, we decided on this TV. LG is just such a well known brand. We looked at similar ones from other brands, and you had to pay more but you didn't get anything for the higher price. We also compared the TVs in person, and the LG was just as good if not better than the other TVs that were $300+ more. Now that we have it, we are not disappointed. It was easy to hang, had it on the wall 20 minutes after delivery. It was easy to set up with our WIFI for the smart TV. The look of the whole unit is just clean and slick. And the sound to out LG Sound bar just sounds a lot cleaner. Pros Great Picture Easy to set up Easy to hang Great look Cons Could use one more HDMI port

after doing some research and going back and forth about which tv to buy for under $1000 that had HDR . i got a deal this past week from best buy which i could not refuse . their promo was buy this tv with an xbox one s and get $300 off the bundle which in a way made xbox one s free. after looking online and doing some research i learned from different users including those at avs forums that in fact this tv does support hdr10 which the xbox one s supports . it does not support dolby vision only the higher models like uh8500 do both hdr10 and dolby vision . so here is where my deal gets good as we all know best buy price matches with other legitimate retailers and i happen to find one that had this tv listed for $599 . i got to give credit to best buy as they not only stuck by their word but also gave me the $300 off bundle offer since i got the xbox one s as well. so all in all i got this set which looks great and a xbox one s which is a 4k bluray player for under $800 . that deal i will never get anywhere else for an HDR uhd 55 tv and brand new xbox one s . thank you best buy . and for those on a budget if you dont get the vizio p series this is the one to get .

I wanted to upgrade my Sharp 1080P LC-60LE654U to 4k. My sharp tv looks way better than the LG 4k tv. The LG had terrible blacks, terrible peak brightness, and bad gray whites.

I love to read reviews before I make a major purchase, I had my mind set on another TV when I went to my local Best Buy. Some how I was talked into getting this TV. So I was in the store going over a lot of the review to see what other people had to say. I was in the store for about an hour going over a lot of the info and reviews. I so glad I made the decision to purchase this TV. I'm the type of person who love to watch TV and my TV has to be great. Well what can I say the picture is really good and clear even though I can't take full advantage of the 4K feature( meaning the picture quality). The reason behind the picture quality is due to my cable provider, they do not provide 4K so of course my TV picture isn't in 4K, however my picture is still pretty. Overall I'm glad I made this purchase and got this TV.

I didn't need a TV but the price and the reviews that I saw for this item was too good to pass up. At $559.99 for a 4K smart TV, I'm okay with a few things not being perfect. Overall the picture quality is pretty good. I noticed the HD channels on cable weren't as crisp as my older Sony TV that I bought 8 years ago at $2499. It's WAY lighter than the old 70 lbs. TV that was mounted on the wall so I was able to mount it by myself. Accessing Netflix, Amazon TV, etc.through WiFi was easy and it's a really nice feature that I didn't have before. My only complaint as others have mentioned is the remote. They could have spent just a little bit more on making the buttons, in particular the directional, more responsive. I do want to mention that I did buy this without seeing it first or comparing to other TVs in the store so maybe there's something else that I'm missing out on but for the price, I can live with that.

My sons TV died & Ive been waiting for an excuse to buy a bigger TV for the living room. I went into Bestbuy to purchase the same Samsung TV that I currently have but a 60" instead of the 46". I've been happy with the Samsung TV for the past 5 years & have never had issues with it. The salesperson recommended this TV since the Samsung I wanted would not be able to keep up the with changing technology in the next few years. I was hesitant at first since I have a hard time trusting "Sales people", but decided to go head & purchase this TV. I could always return it if I wasn't happy with it. I am glad that I did. The picture quality is the same as the Samsung, but this TV is easier to set up, navigate & faster switch to Netflix.

Very happy with this purchase for my parent's family room. Great picture quality at a reasonable cost. I wish it had 240 refresh rate but that's because it's what I would buy. I also wish there was a bit more depth to the picture but for their needs and expectations, it greatly exceeds. Very easy to setup and very simple remote.
