Ended up returning this and buying another LG. Was surprised that the picture wasn't as good as my old LG or my old non-smart Insignia! Also it had problems keeping time which messed up any timers set.

Bought this TV before Christmas for 447 dollars on a price match. The next model up 55SJ8500 was more than twice the cost of this set. Way Too much . So far it's the brightest of all the sets I have owned including my plasma. I love the upgraded remote and all the features. The 4K with HDR seems very sharp to me. Even though it's only 60 HZ I don't see any ghost in sporting action events. I hung my TV on the wall with a tilt mount which doesn't create any distraction when watching it. I too agree with others these little legs supplied for their stand are cheesy. Next step up for me is an OLED which will retire this to my bedroom. The plasma has to go now. All I have to say is life is good with this 55UJ7700 . These should be cheaper now since they are last years models so be sure you to shop around and BB will match the price. No wonder their stock is doing good.--They want to sell products and welcome all buyers. Their return policy is super also. Hope this helps for you out there whom are considering this LG TV model.

I purchased this TV upon the recommendation of the local Magnolia sales rep. In store the TV looked pretty fair. Bright, colorful. Though the darks and the sharpness seemed a bit off. He assured me that the TV would be much better in a darker setting. Once I got it home, it took a turn for the worse. It looked washed out and bleak. The "Local dimming" was a joke, the 7 vertical zones making it look like curtains were being drawn across the screen whenever something dark came up. I exchanged the TV for a TCL P605. It was about $100 less and looks way way better!

We returned this item due to not living up to expectations. We have always purchased LG products but this was definitely a disappointment.

The color is not as clear as expected and the voice is not synchronized with the videa but overall TV is okay
