Horrible WiFi Connectivity
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm returning this tomorrow for this exact reason. I've had the television for about two weeks. I watch live TV through Hulu Live. Every morning the TV will not reconnect. My WiFi modem is in the same room less than 10' away and running at 375 mb/s. At first I had to attempt to reconnect by re-entering my password a couple of times. Each day it has gotten worse. Now it won't connect at all. All other Firestick, computer, and mobile device are connected and working great. This simply now refuses to connect. If WiFi Connectivity is important you should keep looking.

LG tv

The legs on this are not stable and do not properly support the weight of the tv. This is a major safety concern for anyone with kids or pets, as it can easily be knocked over. Can't believe this design flaw slipped past quality control.

Bad buy

Got it home and when I took the tv out of the box to lay it down to install the legs, I heard a rattling sound. The screen panel was not secured to the bezels and was flopping around inside. Next was the black border at the bottom of the screen. I could see the 2 far right light devices at the bottom bleeding through the bottom border. No matter what I did with settings it was still bleeding through. Another thing was that to use some if the features in this tv, I was required to give permission to privacy issues I am not willing to hand over to LG or anyone else. I also read that the hdmi ports go bad but didnt wait for that to hapen. No HBO app either and Im not buying an extra fire stick for that. This tv went back to Bestbuy and I will never buy another intrusive cheap tv like this again. Do not buy this tv!

LGTV white spots
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the LG 55LB5900 a couple of years ago from Best Best. 4 White spots (manufacturers defect with glue and LED) now appear, see photo. Also, the brightness has decreased. It is a common problem and LG has terrible customer service. They wanted to charge me $125 for the LG tech to show up plus whatever it took to fix the issue. Maybe $1000? I would never buy a LG tv or product again. I would buy another brand from Best Buy. Best Buy has the best selection.

Will not last long. Buy a LG instead.

I purchased it, mounted it, and there has been no physical contact with that TV since (other than dusting) That’s it. When I called to troubleshoot they told me to restart it a couple of times and that didn’t work. I asked for a TCL technician, which they then told me they do not have any. I have owned Vizio and LG and both of those TVs that I still currently own have lasted 6+ years. Do not! I repeat do not purchase a TCL TV! Best of luck

Stay Away

LG has sent 3 people with different or wrong parts to try fix it. Nobody has a clue what is wrong and LG will not send a replacement. Stay away from LG and their horrible customer service.

Black screen in less than 4 years

No display. I can still hear sound and I can see the backlights are working but no display or menu. I've tried everything the internet said and I paid $300 for this and its not worth fixing. I won't buy this brand any more.

Never buy LG again

Have had it repaired 3 times for the same issue - LED lights malfunction and will not turn on. Finally gave up and will need to purchase another tv - certainly not LG!

Very Disappointed

Replace the legs ASAP

Do yourself a favor and either wall mount or buy a universal base ASAP. THESE LEGS ARE JUNK AND WILL CRACK AND YOUR TV WILL TOPPLE TO TGE FLOOR!,, We noticed our TV was tilting slightly forward and upon investigation noticed that both legs were cracked on the front had we not noticed this both legs would have continued to crack through and the TV would’ve undoubtedly just toppled over.

Planned obsolescence?

Just a black screen, although the sound still works. Can’t even do any troubleshooting because nothing shows on screen. Save your money and buy from a manufacturer that makes quality products that last.

Poor picture quality

I debated for 2 weeks whether or not to get a new tv, because there wasn’t really anything wrong with my old one, but I wanted something with better picture quality. I finally took the dive, bought this, set it up and to say I’m disappointed is an understatement. Now I’m out over $300 for a tv that has the exact quality of the old tv I had.

The Wifi Connection is very glitchy

Not functioning after just 2.5 years.

Tonight, 6/21/2022, got the 3 red flashing lights of death when I tried to turn it on. Power board is bad. Don't buy this TV. Two and a half years of normal use and it goes bad? Very disappointed in LG.
