I think it presents >95% of the picture & sound quality of the top tier models. If you want to spend $$ hundreds more to get extra bells & whistles go ahead. This tv is 1st rate at its price point. Cons: You can get overwhelmed with the menu options. LG should update the menu interface.

The sound is okay. I added a soundbar with a sub woofer to improve the sound. Linking the soundbar and sub woofer was simple. This TV comes with several useful apps, including Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Video. Many of the other apps seem outdated and unnecessary, but they are free and don’t cause any issues.

It was bought to replace an LG that she’s had for 10 years, the set up was a little hard to do only because she was so excited about having a new tv. However, after reading the instructions set up became a breeze the picture is great, the sound is great and I would definitely recommend purchasing this tv.

The picture is crisp and clear, and the sound is particularly good - which is very important to me. I highly recommend this LG model, particularly for those on a budget like me. It makes me feel like I bought a much more expensive set without having done so. VERY satisfied.

After looking everywhere for the best deal , I ended up back at Best Buy because the prices were way better on all their TVs. Was thinking about a 65in but glad I settled on the 55in LG because it is plenty big. The picture is great ,the sound is great ,and the remote control is easy to operate. Very pleased!

This totally fit the bill. What an absolutely amazing TV for the value. The picture quality was miles better than my old Sony. I haven't used the smart TV functions since I have a Roku and FireTV attached, but if you don't have either of those, the interface to access is very user friendly.
