This TV replaced an older plasma TV. I picked this TV for the warm rich colors and natural faces found in the plasma TV picture. This TV is excellent and is a great value for the price. I highly recommend, and I am very happy with it.

I've been waiting about a decade to upgrade from my former Samsung LCD TV. As ultra HD came out I resisted the urge to upgrade until the price dropped and finally, after a recent move, I made the upgrade. I have NOT been disappointed. The ultraHD on this TV is great. IT really shines when the HDR kicks in on games and movies. I've also been pleasantly surprised by the LG OS. Learning an OS can be a struggle, but this worked fine. My ONLY complaint was that the TV remote wasn't compatible with my Bose Soundbar and, after checking tons of LG blogs, there isn't a workaround. But, I traded it for a (nicer) LG soundbar on FB marketplace and have loved that since I got it.

Television is simply awesome! Picture quality phenomenal! Smart TV with all the streaming apps I use already installed. Price was good at the time but prices seem to continually go down. Still happy with what I paid for the quality I got.

Super Television. Has awesome picture and easy to use apps

This TV is great for the price. Picture is very clear. Blacks could be darker...they are more gray than deep black. Built in streaming apps work well. Sound is pretty good too. Viewing from the sides is also really good. Don't have to be sitting directly in front to have a good picture.

I set this to vivid colors, threw on some 4K Planet Earth. Now my dad wants one lol. This caught my eye in the store next to the other two dozen HDTVs... Works great looks great, easily synced with my Samsung soundbar, and was able adjust TV to compensate for soundbars latency

I was recommended this tv for the price and features that it came with and there isn't one thing I've been disappointed in! From the first day, I've loved the 4k with HDR, sound quality isn't bad. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tv to anyone looking to get a new one.

First TV purchase in a while. Found youngest BB associate I could to explain differences in available sets. He listened to our needs and recommended this model. Easy set up, crystal clear picture, excellent on board speakers, and fills space perfectly. I would recommend.

I had a LG TV in the past and it was great. The difference between that 1080p and this 4K is like night and day. My family have other brand name TV's that cost more, but the picture, features and options blow those other sets out of the water. LG fan for life.

I really enjoy the LG. 55" is the biggest one I've ever owned. The picture is much clearer than I've ever seen. It almost feels like you're in the program. The internet is much more fun with access from the TV. LG has some good programs on it's channel plus feature.

Bought this TV for a guest bedroom, not everyday use. Good clear picture with little to no blurring. If you are a cord cutter, the OS system is easy to use and it has al the major streaming services already downloaded. Colors and contrast can't compare to the OLED version, but for the price, it is very hard to beat.

it's worth paying the extra money for a smart TV. The convenience and ease with available apps with wi fi is awesome. Getting the 2160p and uhd makes details of movies and TV programs unbelievable. You don't know what you're missing until you get uhd TV.

I bought this TV for my mom for Christmas and i've always had a Samsung brand bias. While i love my Samsung i have to admit for cable tv viewing and movies this TV does a great job and for the price point as a budget 4k TV id say its worth every penny

Was in the market for a 55" 4K UHD TV and originally was only looking at Samsung but when I saw this one it was even sharper than the comparable Samsung. Great size and picture is clean and sharp. Still playing around with the color balance, but there are lots of settings. Overall very happy and would recommend.

We chose to upgrade from a 42" to 55" We have had good service from previous LG products an this is a good unit. Set up was very easy. Quality HD picture.

We love this LG tv, the built-in features are great and it's easy to use and setup. We have a smaller LG that we've had for years and knew when we needed to replace our larger tv (it was a samsung) that we were going to replace it with another LG.

I might be bias because I love LG products growing up with those. Even thought my last screen was a Samsung, I could resist this one. the image is crisp, I am looking to purchase the model in a year.... I will pass this one to my lil bro.

Like the summary says, it's a great t.v. Really smooth visuals and great sound without sound system or sound bar. Also the price is great for the size of the t.v. The game setting and the optional HDR makes gaming graphics look amazing.

Couldn't say no to this beautiful thinline LG 55" LED 4K TV. Loved it so much that I had to also buy the LG 65" LED 4K TV. They rock... and I got the 5-year protection plan on both. You'll love these TV's.

Although still learning all of the functions and channels that are available on this smart TV, we are very pleased with the picture quality and sound. Also a pleasant surprise was how light the TV is as compared to our old 42" LG
