-Easiest Smart System and Great Reviewing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive always bought Samsung or Sony in the past but the LG Expert in store really sold me on the Web OS. The magic remote is actually FUN to use which is the first time I can say that. Normally Ive grown frustrated with tv remotes with too many buttons. If you have a room with alot of light this tv is amazing. Everybody has the best seat in the house.

5 star quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.after studying top tvs online and getting it down to the top four tv brands I decided on LG Nano 800 series because of the google voice assistants and while at the store a sales guy who helped just recently bought the 900 series which is newer and raved about it and so I spend a tad bit more and bought one. I asked him about one main complaint I read on tvs in review sections where people say they can't get the picture to look like the store model picture and he said all they do is go to picture settings and put on vivid mode and so that's what I did and wow what an amazing picture with bright vivid colors. got a 4k dvd player also and watched the last two 4k evengers movies and the picture is so stunning watching 4k movies on this 4k tv. love the google feature as you can speak into the remote and get weather, ball scores and list of movies playing locally. had this tv for two weeks now and have recommended it to coworkers to buy

Great Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great overall picture quality. The brights are really bright. The darks are nice and dark. I like being able to change the picture mode to make it more vivid or darker as I want. Overall vivid is the setting for me because it makes everything really pop.

I really wanted to like this TV but I returned it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV seemed to check all the boxes for me. Future proof tech, FALD, atmos, and hdmi 2.1. But after getting it home, and running it through the paces, I returned it. The blooming issue is not something you can over look. It really is bad. LG just didnt put enough dimming zones in it, it is such a shame. Even the magic remote pointer icon displays awful blooming. The colors do pop but the blooming ruins it as soon as a dark scene displays. The brightness rocks, but you have to turn it almost all the way down to even make the blooming watchable. I even had it set up in a naturally well lit room and the blooming was very visible. Its was best to turn the dimming off, which defeats the functions purpose. And I was excited for the webOS, but the built in netflix (with dedicated remote button) app had problems loading and the netflix icon just spun indefinitely rather than running. Netflix through the tv remote was broken. I had to unplug the tv to get it to work, and then it would only work once before a unplug was needed again. Gaming suffered the same blooming problem on the ps4 pro. I spent several days adjusting the settings, trying different source inputs but ultimately all the problems added up to it not being worth the price and I returned it.

Amazing Television
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv and its been couple of years now. It still works great. It has excellent picture quality and sound quality to fill the room. I do have a sound bar but have not used it in a while because of sound quality of the tv. The dialogs are clear to hear, and the picture quality is so good that you enjoy every second of of the content you are watching.

Obnoxious Blooming, Bad For Dark Room Viewing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Colors are more true-to-life and not as exaggerate as an OLED. The blacks can get fairly inky with local dimming turned on. Input response is good. Sound is good. Displays SDR video really well. Viewing angle is not so good, especially in the dark. The biggest issue I have with this TV, is that it the blooming is OBNOXIOUS and extremely distracting! Running the local dimming test, it looks like there are 4 massive vertical zones across the screen (each zone seems to have it's own uniformity issues), but could not detect any horizontally. The zones are so big that the blooming lights up nearly 1/4 of the screen, creating thick bands of bad uniformity between light and dark. Turning off Local Dimming and turning down the Backlight mitigates some of it, but at the cost of blacks turning to milky grey and colors losing vibrancy. If you watch a lot of horror movies like I do or you watch TV in the dark, this is a TERRIBLE VIEWING EXPERIENCE. I would not buy this TV again and I hope Best Buy will allow me to return it. Also, if you play Red Dead Redemption 2, the game looks really bad on this TV, but other games like Mortal Kombat, XCom 2 looked decent...

Okay TV for Gamers--There are better options.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality is great. It definitely does take a lot of fanaggling to establish what you're looking for when gaming, movie-watching, or just watching the TV, but once it's set up, it's pretty. The menus and smart-TV aspect is a little daunting if you are unfamiliar with it. I personally still have trouble navigating the multiple menus despite having this TV for at least a month. The sound is great and no soundbar is needed. Most games look great on this TV with the above-mentioned picture adjusting, but there are instances where some games just look really bad no matter how much you mess with the settings.
