I don't know what people are complaining about with the remote. It's a very normal remote as far as I can tell

It does seem like its hard to get the picture “just right”…it takes a lot of adjusting. And the remote is pretty bad (too small). Overall, it was worth the money, but you get what you pay for.

Covered by warranty. I asked the sales rep about a better quality and this was recommended. I was not happy with it from the begining. It took over 2 hours just to get signed in and then even more time to load apps and figure out how to use it. It is difficult to hook up outside antenna as the angle for the coax is too short and there is no imput for a DVD that has RCA plugs. Even now I am still not happy with the TV. It is difficult to find programs and it seems to always pick Spanish language programs first. I actually opted to use my old TV to watch certain programs. I am contemplating returning the TV. If this is supposed to be a smart TV, I am not convinced.

After watching videos and returning to the store and meeting with the LG rep I learned it cannot happen without an additional "setup" visit to my home for a base fee of $129. What a ripoff. I was able to setup my previous Fire TV easily with Alexa. The LG 55" remote does NOT have and Alexa button and I was not told that I'd have to use my smart phone as well! THREE devices to watch TV. Besides, the LG remote does NOT light up in the dark. False or MIS information at the time of purchase. I don't know what I'm going to do. It's extremely inconvenient to do 3 remotes to watch cable, turn on the devices and NOT have Alexa. Very unfortunate and disappointed.
