    I was actually quite displeased with this unit. I originally purchased a similar sized Sony unit that I returned after seeing the picture quality of the LG on the floor model. I figured that if the LG was that good, I could save a few hundred dollars. The unit I received struggled to reproduce whites and blacks. A TV show we were watching had a few scenes on a white sand beach. I tried all the different viewing modes and the whites on the screen either looked yellowish or bled into the other colors. In another scene, a lady with dark hair appeared to have a void on the screen in the shape of her hair. The "magic" remote was helpful when entering passwords to sign into apps, but was otherwise kind of annoying. I could live with the remote if I was able to get a good picture. The LG app store is also limited. In the end, this unit was returned and I bought the Sony again.
