    My sister purchased this on Black Friday to replace her older 48-inch LG 1080p TV from 8 years ago that was giving her HDMI handshake issues. This isn't a bad TV, just don't expect to use the WebOS apps over wi-fi on this model. LG has installed a painfully slow wi-fi card and slow processor, making navigation, loading and running apps agonizingly slow with major buffering issues. I helped diagnose this TV for her over Christmas by first making sure the firmware was up to date, but since this was connected over wi-fi, the firmware check kept timing out. I opened the browser and went to SpeedTest.net, and that page took several minutes to load, and once I was able to run a test, it came back with a download speed of .1 Mbps. We then connected a FireStick to the TV and ran an internet speed test on that and came back with roughly 75 Mbps. I then advised her to either exchange the TV (for a TCL or Hisense) or just use the Firestick to stream. She choose the latter.
