Terrible UI

It frustrated me so much I had to return it the day it got delivered. First the setup process is an absolute major hassle. The app is a nightmare to try and get hooked up to the tv and it forces you to login and have an account to be able to add or change the apps on the tv. I had it less than 3 hours before I took it back and got a Samsung instead. Horrendous.

It was supposed to be a 55 inch TV. It measured a little over 49 inches. The box read 55 inch TV. My receipt read 55 inch TV. THE WORST SCAM EVER!!!!!! If you ever buy a TV from Best Buy, please take it out of the box and measure it. Its still a nice TV but buyer beware!!!!!

I don’t know why they changed the design and why they tried to pack 1000 buttons into a space meant for 20. There is no backlighting so I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to use it in the dark and ended up launching an app that I didn’t want to use. Sigh!!

WE got an outstanding deal from Best Buy. The TV is easy to setup and start watching. We stream most everything or watch with an antenna, LG has a bunch of free channels included, who needs cable. My only complaint is the settings menu is kind of weird, but that is minor. All in all this is a great TV in it's price range and we're very happy with the purchase.

Good picture would probably be better if it was plugged directly into a cable box but streaming sports and movies its decent. Setup was super easy. I havnt tried the xbox on it yet so cant speak to gaming quality. So for 299$ you cant really complain its does the job for a good price, ill add a decent soundbar and it will be a good bedroom setup. My last LG worked like a champ for many years so I trust the brand, hopefully this one will last as long
