    We've come a long way from simply plugging a set in and changing channels. This is a smart TV with a 'magic' remote, and the remote itself takes getting used to. The temptation is to just dive into your favorite movies to see the picture on the beautiful edge-to-edge display, which might delay a deep-dive into what this product really has under the hood. I'm still learning, but enjoying the view.

    I like the size better than the slightly smaller LG had, which lasted about 7.5 years. While I realize manufacturers carry a torch in their hearts for built-in obsolescence, the time this thing functioned for me was too short considering how much I paid for it, so I'm hoping this new one lasts longer. It didn't help that several people told me it would cost almost as much to fix it as it would to buy a new one.
