They also appreciate the TV's easy setup process and affordable price point. Truthfully I wasn't sure to rate it 4 or 5 stars considering i'd give it a 4.5, it's almost perfect for the price I paid in 2023. The color is absolutely great, it took some tweaking for me to fine tune it to my likings but its' great. Wish the webOS was a bit better and I've noticed slight ghosting on some games. (Tail lights of a car ghosting while driving in Cyberpunk, on PS5). But I've also been absolutely blown away by the picture and prefer to play my games on it over my monitors that I have for my PC. I recommend this TV if you enjoying gaming, it's great for movies, I love it for anime and cartoons because the colors pop so nicely. I tweaked the Vivid user settings preset and everything is nice, bright and colorful. 4.5/5

Overall, I'm satisfied with the TV. I'm not a TV buff, but I'm glad I decided to upgrade from my measly 32" HDTV to this one for my living room. I hadn't notice I was straining my eyes watching the my old tv until I watched shows on this one. It's a good product for the price. It has good streaming presets so it's ready to go out of box. Setup and product registration was easy. I chose this one over a 50" Sony that was not as thin as the LG and was a comparable price. The only minor downside is the gestural mode on the remote that happens when you click on the wheel ball. That's not a helpful feature.

I have been extremely pleased with this TV. Was easy to assemble, and relatively easy to set up its initial steps to operate. Clear picture, good sound, lightweight, and the app tiles are logical to figure out. Excellent value for the price paid of this TV. I have had LG TV before, and happy to continue with this brand.

We love the tv but aren't very fond of the remote. The tv has an awesome picture. We can see so much more detail than our old tv that was only a couple of years old. The menus are easy to learn and follow. It was easy to set up and add the channels that we like. The remote, however, isn't very user friendly. They had some good ideas for it... but it was poorly executed. It has this neat little mouse roller ball type thing to make scrolling and moving around the screen easier... and when you scroll up, you automatically turn on an on-screen pointer that makes it even easier to move around the screen, type passwords, search, etc. However, you also have to push down - STRAIGHT DOWN - on that same little roller ball to make selections (like an Enter button), pause the tv, etc. If you're not careful when you do that, you can very easily turn the roller and on-screen pointer on, then accidentally select something you didn't want or move to a completely different part of the screen. And, when you click the Home button or Back button, that automatically turns the pointer back on every. single. time. We have not yet found a way to disable that feature. We've been so frustrated with this remote that we're almost ready to look for a different one. Other than that, we LOVE the tv.

Purchased this TV a few months ago, our first smart TV. So far, everything seems good. Set up was a bit time consuming but not hard. Nice quality picture. Sound is good, but ours is on a sound bar with subwoofer. Menus and selection of apps seem easy enough to use, as well as installing new apps. Using the remote "pointer" to select things is tricky, it jumps around, have to use both hands to steady the remote to get the pointer to the right selection spot. Sometimes easier to simply use the arrows on the remote to select. All in all, a nice smart TV. Like LG brand.

Great picture and love the LG app. I was a Samsung fan but now prefer LG TV’s. As the Samsung’s go down due to age / failure, I have been replacing them with LG’s. Quality, ease of use, longevity, the LG app and cost. Only one issue ever. Picked up an LG TV and it had a pixel issue. Returned it 45 minutes later, got another one and had that one for 2 years now. Doesn’t get better than LG TV’s.

This TV is outstanding for $500. Made it my bedroom TV and it’s awesome for shows, sports & streaming content. Apps are easy to download/configure; it works seamlessly with NFLX, Prime, Xfinity, AppleTV, Peacock and likely others too. Remote works for the apps like a Roku would. Might buy the 75” version for my living room!

Very pleased. Purchased this LG after fair amount of research. We have 2 other 32 inch LG tvs that were pleased with and have used several years. This 55 inch was easy to set-up. The color of pic is very good, there are several settings to use. Sound is good. Would recommend.

It is a good TV with a good definition for it’s pricing, the sound could be better but it complements very well with an LG sound bar, The brights are good but the darks could be darker, but overall it’s a good pick for the price.

Awesome TV with great picture. Magic remote is a game changer and makes transitioning between screens and apps super easy. My only gripe are the speakers but modern tvs are flat and dont have adequate housing for booming speakers. So an external sound bar is a must.

This was my 5th LG HDTV, and so far it never disappoint me. Was really debating if I should get the 65" vs this 55" as the price is the same but a year older for the 65" model. Guess what, it doesn't really matter as I've been using LG brand for the last 15 years. So far this model is superb as in it's just keep getting better and better. Features are upgraded, processor response are faster, picture are crystal clear (it should be) sounds is a little better. This TV is for the master bedroom and wife is very happy and satisfied. If you really wanted a TV that is price reasonably with quality and that has been established for everyday use for streaming or antenna viewing, this brand never fails.
