We have used the stovetop and it works great. However, we have not been able to use the oven. This unit has been broken from day one. The locking device is not working properly. After a couple of days reading the manual, visiting the LG site, and watching YouTube we called LG customer service. They sent their repair guy out (01/16/2020) and when he removed the back panel pieces just fell out everywhere. He ordered a replacement part on 01/16/20. It is on back order. Of course we were not notified of this delay until we followed up with the repair company. So now we wait, and wait and wait.

Then I call 1800 number and they tried to get me to keep it and give me a discount of like $20.

Sorry I Bought This

Also, the self cleaning oven doesn’t work well at all. You also have to remove the racks and end up having to do a lot of work wiping out the oven and scouring the racks clean! Not happy with this LG product!

Tough to clean!

The directions on this even state to not slide a pan on it. In my opinion all your Pan has to do is touch it and you have marks that you can’t just wipe off! LG definitely dropped the ball with this one!

Posted .Use ceramic cooktop cleaner on the glass cooktop. Other creams may not be as effective or may scratch, damage or stain the cooktop surface. Do not use scrub pads or abrasive cleaning pads. They may damage your cooktop surface. For your safety, wear an oven mitt or pot holder while using a scraper on the hot cooking surface. If any sugar or food containing sugar (preserves, ketchup, tomato sauce, jellies, fudge, candy, syrups, chocolate) spills, or plastic or foil melts on the cooktop, remove the molten material IMMEDIATELY with a metal razor scraper (it will not damage the decorated cooking surface) while the cooking surface is still hot to avoid the risk of damage to the glass-ceramic surface. It turns on and off every 30-40 seconds for about 20 seconds at a time. It burns the top of frozen pizza (or anything else that is frozen), however the crust is still doughy. We have already had to have a repairman out (we have had it 8 months) to replace the circuit board and wiring on the oven due to the broiler stopped working and the oven would not preheat. The cooktop scratches easily and leaves marks when something boils over that are almost impossible to get off. ...and the oven will not come clean! Also, it is almost impossible to get food to simmer once it boils, it just continues to boil, even on low.
