I was so excited to buy this beautiful looking Range, with gorgeous blue enamel interior! wow was I fooled.
Round 1 - Within a year, I had used the full self cleaning feature a time or two, and noticed little broken pieces of blue enamel all over the bottom of the stove, and found little chips all over the inside of the range. I searched online, and discovered the self cleaning feature is too hot for the enamel. I contacted LG and after numerous service visits, and phone calls, LG replaced the range through Best Buy, with the same model, warning me, that if I use the self clean, it might happen again. So now, I can't use the self clean feature on my oven.. how is that acceptable?! I asked Best Buy manager, how they can sell an oven, where you can not use the self clean feature unless you want to risk tiny broken shards of enamel (glass) falling into your food... they said it's not their issue, I should take it up with LG.
Round 2 - second range, after just over 1 year (of course) the heating in the oven is not working properly. It says the correct temp, but it is not actually at that temp. some days it works, some days it doesn't. surprise.. no dinner!
I cant believe I have to start contacting LG to get this repaired already. I spent over $1200 originally, and thought I would not have to repair/replace for years.
Disappointed in LG & Best Buy

Bought this oven for my grandmother down in her kitchen. Bought this specifically for all the smart features, ESPECIALLY THE REMOTE START AND WIFI FUNCTIONS. THEY ONLY WORK, WHEN YOU ALLOW IT ON THE OVEN. When the remote start is on, all the functions/buttons in the display are disabled. If you make a mistake in the app, and shut the oven off, the remote start is disabled and then you cannot start it back up again. If you bought this thinking you could preheat the oven on the way home, think again. It does not work that way. I have reached out to LG to ask them why this is. I have family members with GE smart appliances that work seamlessly with alexa, phones, and can be started and operated from ANYWHERE ALL THE TIME. This oven DOES NOT DO THAT. I feel kind of cheated that it is advertised as a smart oven with remote start that only works if you tell it to. This is like walking out to your car, starting your car but only in accessory. Leaving it there all day in accessory, and then being allowed to remote start it. Hopefully you have the foresight every time you wish to utilize the remote start feature. Kind of useless and not worth the extra money this thing is for how it functions. Maybe LG will offer a software update that allows the remote start to be a latched function and allow the display/buttons to work in conjunction with the remote start at the same time. Shouldn't smart features work intelligently and not disable the devices? Kind of upset. It is pretty though in the black stainless. I would not recommend this as a smart device if you want extra features. If you want a nice oven with some extra cooking features then maybe....

Has a lot of great features but getting the LG ThinQ working has been a problem. No good documentation on the process included in user manual.
