Worst ever oven

When you use the over the top of the stove gets very, very hot. I had the appliance technician look at it and he said that’s normal. I’ve had stoves for over 50 years and this has never happened before. I definitely would not recommend it. If you leave some food on the top it continues to start cooking that.
