The smart TV features are awesome and I use them all the time. This TV really suffers in dark scenes, light will bleed. This is obvious with captions - the white text will bleed into the center third of the panel. The brightness could also be improved. You will find yourself trying to adjust the settings to compensate for such poor backlighting.

Awesome TV - has it's quirks

It's a bit odd watching movies in 4k though as they all now look like a sitcom in which you're totally immersed. The interface is a little odd and the pointer/remote takes a bit of work to get the feel of it. The only issue I've had so far is that if you're at a large vertical angle (laying on the floor while the TV is mounted high on the wall), the picture is slightly darker. I'm sure there's a setting to correct this but we've just angled the TV downwards.

User friendly but Spotify app malfunctions.

Mostly like the wand remote and friendly user interface. I have little patience for quirky software issues. This was the main reason we chose this brand and we're very pleased overall. Not sure why the Spotify app malfunctions and just stops playing between songs tho. Won't continue playing through playlist. Have to direct connect via Bluetooth to sound bar and operate through phone app. Frustrating.
