Two defective in a row
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to be a fan of LG products, having a monitor I love. However, two different models of LG TVs in a row were defective, starting to randomly reboot after a few weeks. Bestbuy made it easy to exchange and return but it soured me on LG TVs.

Washed out picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great price for this TV but the picture looks washed out. High speed HDMI cable didn't help. HD programming didn't help. Took it back before exchange period expired. Bought an entry level 4K Samsung on sale at BB and love it.

Entry level 4k
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this tv not expecting a whole lot. Well, I wasn't disappointed because the picture was very faded and the blacks were light. Returned and purchased a Samsung 8000 series and love it!

TV didn’t even last 3 years...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I give this a 1-star rating because it bit the bullet in less than 3 years. Of course the manufacturer’s warranty was only good for 1 year...

TV has "Soap Opera" effect on all sources.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to get this TV home and turned on. I was highly disappointed when I found that the motion blur was so bad that everything looked like a soap opera. There is no manual picture adjustment in the menu. You can only chose between a couple presets that are all really bad. You basically have the options of dim, not so dim, and ridiculously bright. This TV is featureless and over processes everything.

Don't buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had this TV for 16 days and on the 15th day the screen went down the drain, flickering, jumping, double images. Basically made it unwatchable. Run from this TV

60" Ultra high Def LG TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When we decided to upgrade our existing LG TV to ultrahigh def we did our research. Our old LG (10 years) has been rock solid and reliable, still has a great bright picture but we wanted the new UHD. We decided on a new LG based on past experience, LG quality and price. We have had our new 60" for about six weeks and are more than happy with our purchase. The picture is incredibly beautiful with vibrant colors and extraordinary definition. Sound quality is pretty good, not great, and must be turned up to more than 50 for adequate volume even in a relatively small room (approximately 15x18 feet). Initial setup was a nightmare and required more than two hours because setup instructions are, for all practical purposes, nonexistent. There are no instructions for the remote and the setup approach and program is entirely different from our old LG. The controller uses barely visible and virtually indecipherable symbols to access certain functions LIKE INPUT SOURCE so if you are older and have some difficulty reading at close range you are almost SOL when trying to figure out how to access the input source. Extremely frustrating to say the least. That said, once I figured out how to use the controller, we have been very pleased with our new TV. I would recommend this TV and other LG products to my friends.

So great I bought 2
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This LG far exceed my expectations and if you are looking for a great 4k TV with a budget price than look no further as this is the TV you should buy. Let’s start with the negatives – It is not a OLED or SUHD top of the line end all be all TV. - It has a ton of settings and it can be a bit confusing to really dial it in to your perfect setting (See below as I will help). – It can’t make magic happen with a poor input like a poorly filmed TV show lol. Positives – Size, when comparing a 55” vs a 60” it’s actually a greater screen area of 19.01% and considering the price is more comparable to a 55” go for the bigger screen. – Smart TV that easily connects to Netflix, Hulu, Plex with no issues and has a handy menu that you can customize with little effort. – Thin and light weight compared to my last flat screen with a very small frame. The TV’s total dimensions are about equal to my last 55” TV and the weight will make it easy to move and mount on a wall. – USB port. Do you have a Flash drive or external hdd with pictures, music, movies, TV shows etc? Well if you do you are in luck as it pulls up my 2TB HDD’s flawlessly, organizes alphabetically, reads all of my formats such as AVI, MP4 and even MKV. It acts a lot like the PS3 does with external hdd’s only with the bonus of MKV and no Cinavia which is awesome. - Video games on PS4 and PS3 are just fine as I was worried about a lag. – THE PICTURE! I can’t believe I spent so little on this when it has such great picture quality. It up converts everything to a better picture (unless it’s shot poorly then it’s garbage in and garbage out but not the fault of the tv). As stated previously it has a lot of settings and it will take some time to dial it in to your preferences. Here is what to do to get a good, simple starting point that many people will not adjust further. Turn off all the extra stuff for a good picture and then add them back in if you like bit by bit. Turn off the Dynamic Contrast, Super Resolution, Noise Reductions, Sharpness and TruMotion which ironically can give you a blurry picture with a ghosting effect. You can also look up Rtings, find a similar model and adjust further. When you buy this AND set it up all you will be thinking is “I absolutely made the right choice”. I know I did and went back and bought a second one for the bedroom. Now do me a favor and let me know if this was helpful by clicking a thumbs up or down. Thank you and good luck!

Great TV, Great Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Couldn't be happier with this TV and my experience at Best Buy. I needed to upgrade the TV in my living room (previously had a 50 inch Samsung plasma I bought 4-5 years ago) but I didn't want to break the bank. I ordered on Bestbuy.com the day after xmas and it was available for pick-up at my local store within 20 min. The original cost was $649 but then BB dropped the price to $599 a few days later and they reimbursed me the $50 via their price protection guarantee program (stay vigilant on this as BB's prices fluctuate frequently) which I then used to buy a Chromecast. Setup was a breeze, took about 15 min to screw on the legs and hook it up to wifi, etc. I'm not a resolution snob by any means so the entry level 4K is good enough for me, especially at this price point. The hardware is nice looking too, very slim with a slim bezel around the screen makes the TV look extra sharp. The smart tv capabilities are easy to use and have a quick response time, there's a built in screen share functionality too but it doesn't work with apple products which is why I bought a chromecast for $30 to cover all the bases. Overall I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a 60+ inch screen on a budget.
