So far, an excellent TV for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went back and forth between this and the 65" Samsung (UN65KU6300FXZA) for $999. After comparing in store, I decided that you couldn't beat the LG for $650. Although not true UHD, it still provides an amazing vibrant picture, especially when streaming 4k movies and TV shows from Netflix or when hooked up to the Xbox One S with Gears of War 4 or Forza Horizon 3! Do yourself a favor if purchasing this TV (or any HD tv for that matter): Take the time to research and adjust the picture settings for each input. Depending on your room brightness, and the source (Cable, Netflix, Gaming Device, etc.) it can make a world of difference. I spent over an hour doing this until i got it just right, but it is so worth it! So far this has been an incredible bang for the buck. It's not the greatest TV in the world, but at this price point, it really can't be beat.

Great TV some with some functionality issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv is beautiful, the picture is crisp, the sound is very good, and all of the smart tv functions work as they should. The only issue I have is that if you have a streaming service that the tv doesn't have available in the app market (specifically for me I'm talking about the Starz streaming service and YouTube) you cannot airplay from an iPhone/IPad. Where most other smart TVs will let you mirror over a shared wifi connection you cannot do this on the LG TVs. Most of the popular services HBO, Netflix, Hulu, etc are available on the tv itself but if you have something that isn't native to the TV there is no way to broadcast it to the TV from an iPad/IPhone and the tv does not support Airplay. I believe all android products are capable however.

Low Price Doesn't Always Mean Sacrifice In Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased 2/13/17 from Best Buy for $599. This LG UHD TV is better than the price would reflect. We upgraded from our Samsung 48" which was still working great, but was a little old school, thick profile and big, thick bezel, and not Smart TV. Our criteria was; I wanted a 60" big screen SMART TV, my wife wanted a thin bezel/slim profile, and it had to be at least UHD, and lastly, it had to be a "quality" brand with high ratings. We wanted all of this for around a budget of $700. We looked at many 60" UHD Tvs, read numerous reviews, but our budget couldn't take the big prices for those that met all our criteria. Then we saw this at Best Buy, and read the impressive reviews. It met all our criteria, and came in UNDER our budget. However, don't let the low price fool you. The picture is on par with those that cost hundreds more. If you haven't owned a SMART UHD TV before, there is a learning curve with this LG, so be prepared to spend a little time getting to know how to utilize all the features and where the functions are. Like others have said in reviews, I did take some time to fine tune the picture and sound settings to our taste. The True Motion was a minor annoyance to us (seemed a little jerky when movement), so I turned it OFF and motion appears better and smoother to us. There really isn't much out there in the way of UHD broadcasts, but the up scaling of HD to UHD was impressive. Bottom line is that we are blown away by the picture quality, thin bezel and slim profile design, and it being an LG, all for $599. How long it will last is anyone's guess, but you at least stand a better chance with it being an LG. If you want a 60" UHD SMART TV, and have a small budget, then run, don't walk to Best Buy and pick one of these up.

Amazing deal for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being an employee I feel I should give a more accurate review with full understanding of the product. I would also like to make it known that there are two forms of calibrating a tv, one involves a 3000 dollar machine and the other is a cheap, inaccurate one you can do for under 100. The latter is most likely what the reviewers have done and that would not solve the problem. If you buy this TV believing you are going to get OLED or premium 4k you are going to be disappointed. This is an entry level 4k tv. It was an ips screen which does sacrifice black levels for a more realistic picture. It isn't very vibrant, but in comparison to other entry level 4k tvs this is a fantastic buy. For the money and quality you won't find a better tv at this time. I personally love this TV and have one.

Best entry 4k for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the TV for $599.00. For that price it is simply best. Even for current price it is best. I got the TV mostly for smart features and they are fast (not like other entry level models where the smart features are very slow) Picture is good refresh rate is 120hz. If you want to be future-proof buy 4k. Do not buy 1080p unless it is a steal deal (do not expect re-sale with 1080p tvs) Surprisingly sound is also decent but not best. My advice, buy LG sound bar so that you can control sound with the TV remote only

I THINK THIS TV IS A WASTE OF MONEY
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture seems a little distorted on some channels. For the money I spent I think it should show a lot better. I also tells you to do updates all the time when it should just automatically do them as they come up if you allow it. I am not satisfied with it and I will be returning it

Black Friday Bargain
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been looking for a bigger 4K TV for a while now. I have 2 Plasmas, and love the colors of the Plasma set, deep blacks, rich colors- the perfect picture for me. I wanted a 60-65 inch, I noticed this set for only $599, figured its LG, which is one of the 3 best companies for 4K TV's. It almost fit in the trunk area of a 14 Camry, stuck out tied the trunk down. Got home the distance between the 2 stands is 44 inches, it fit my current stand at 48. I set it up, not that hard, easy to follow instructions. When the picture came on, it wasn't great, it had a washed out grayish look. I had to make color changes, it looks better but still not the vibrant colors my- 4 and 5 year old plasma TV's have. The sound is excellent, great for gaming, but the picture just doesn't look that good- it has a constant grayish/dark/hazy-smokey like picture, and the HDR makes no difference at all. It does upscale the picture to 1080p on most shows, commercials, movies on Direct TV. I am considering returning this great deal of a TV. I will call and see if someone can maybe point me in another direction of reseting the picture. I gave this a 4 because of the price, and great sound, it probably should have gotten a 3.5 rating overall.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had this tv for almost a month. Fantastic picture, 4k online content looks amazing, upconverts over-the-air tv to close to 4k. Use OTA tv and have an HTPC hooked up to it along with a 5.1 sound system. Good set
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great tv for the money. I really can't see spending a penny more in a tv. Great picture. I use a Bose cinimate so I really can't comment on the sound. Not the greatest apps, but I'm really not into that either. We use Netflix and that's really about it. 95% of what we watch is sports and regular tv shows. Maybe one movie a month and that's about it. This tv is Perfect for us. Really happy with it. If your looking for a tv to make soup and fold the whites, then this isn't your tv. If your looking for a tv to watch with a good picture, and easy to use for a great price, this will do just fine! I highly recommend it. No blurs during sports which was a major concern of ours. Can't beat the deal, either. Why wouldn't you buy a lg 60" for $599???

Great Picture! Great Price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first 4K T.V. Love the picture and the price. I think this T.V. is a lot of bang for the buck. I did a lot of research on line and compared picture quality to other sets in the store. Very happy with my choice

Great picture, sound, easy to set up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the tv. The picture is great, the sound is good, and it's a huge improvement over our old 1080p tv. The only minor complaint is that I wish the border was all black, rather than silver and black. Did have an issue with our tv wall mount that we already had - the back of this tv has a plastic ledge that sticks out at the bottom, which interfered with the arms of the mount. (If we mounted it against that ledge, I think the plastic would eventually crack.) We had to insert a spacer for the bottom hole, and it seems to be working fine.

Great TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv after reviewing the comments and debating on this purchase. I was torn between LG and Samsung. I do agree the Samsung has a better black level. But this tv you can adjust that. I love that I can pair this with my current soundbar. I just watch Moana with my son this weekend and the picture was absolutely amazing. I got rid of my fire stick because this has all the apps I used on my old samsung tv loaded on it. I recommend this for purchase.

Great Picture At A Great Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Samsung Plasma gave out after 7yrs so it was time to replace. With all the 4K models it was hard selecting the right one at a certain price point. Initially settled on The Samsung 55uk5300 but wasn't to happy with the size and picture seemed to dark, so when I saw this on sale for 699 I figured I'd take a chance on it. One week later and I couldn't be happier size is bigger picture looks great and the price was right.

WOW GREAT TV AND THE PRICE!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been researching T.V's looking to updated, as my current T.V. is a LCD 55" with only 720p resolution. I looked at many different things and was amazed that I found this T.V. with 2160p, 4K, LED, SMART T.V., with the amazing reviews, AWESOME SIZE 60", and the PRICE at BestBuy in the open box area of $590.99 was the kick in the pants I needed to run down to the store and buy it. Since I bought it I have been amazed at the picture, sound, ease of use, included programs, and the true size of the screen is AWESOME! My previous T.V. stand was too small for this T.V. so I am looking into a proper wall mount and getting it wired to my systems. NO MORE Roku's needed it wirelessly connects and is beautiful. I am so very happy I bought this T.V. and I can't wait to get it mounted where it belongs. Currently only place big enough is my dinning room table. I would recommend picking up the mount you need at the same time and have someone help you lift and mount this to be safe! The T.V. is not heavy but very big! If you need help BestBuy can deliver ad set it up also. BUY IT AND YOU WILL LOVE IT TO!!!

Great TV for great price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent 2 weeks researching and looking at its competition. This is an entry level 4K but definitely worth. It's software is fast and intuitive. Switching over apps is easy and quick. Image may at times feel a bit darker than usual but everything else it's great. For the price, it's unbeatable.
