This is not a 'black' TV.

Do not buy this TV if you want a black bezel/frame. This one is silver, despite the word "Black" in the title of the product. When I opened it and saw the silver bezel, I thought I got the wrong model, but the person at BestBuy said that the "Black" in the title referred to the *BACK* of the television, not the bezel/frame. Ok, so that's the craziest thing I've ever hear of, but there you have it. The silver looks great if that's what you want, but just don't think this is black... it's not. Regarding the picture, it seemed a bit washed out to me, like the colors just weren't vibrant enough. I returned this one and picked up a TV with HDR and the picture is much more vibrant.

Great purchase for just over a month but then...

I loved the TV for the first month and a few days. I came home to find it with snow intermittently like the old days of analog signals. After changing cables and using another TV to verify the problem, I localized it to the television. When I returned it to the store where I bought it, they didn't have the same model but took the return and offered a refund so I could shop for another model. This is where things went downhill. I went to the showroom and asked for a comparable TV. The salesman offered a Samsung for $450 more. It had the same specs and when I questioned him about other options he said, "well you purchased a holiday special that we don't normally carry." I asked to see the TV he was pushing and another salesman escorted me to the display. When I cornered him about the differences between the two TV's, he confessed that I wasn't getting any additional features for my extra money. I told them I would "think on it" and left the store. I went across the street to Sam's Club and purchased an LG 60UH7650 that has more features than the TV I returned or the Samsung offered and it only cost $100 more. I have purchased many items from Best Buy over the years including our current Refrigerator and numerous other products. I will not be back after the poor service following this purchase. This review is much more about the poor customer service I received than the product itself. Things happen with electronics and I returned the product in search of an exchange. I eventually purchased a similar product from the same manufacturer. The poor service and options offered by Best Buy were unacceptable.

Awesome TV for the price. It doesn't have the picture of a 2,000 TV because it isn't one. Standard definition is better than my 7 year old 47" LG LED. Blue Ray is a lot crisper and smooth. Streamed 4K is amazing!

No Headphone Jack! Won't pair up with wireless headphones! If you live in an Apt. movies w/ sound bar are too loud! very frustrating! Otherwise a great buy on Black Friday .

Worked great for the almost 4 years of ownership. Got blurry and fuzzy pictures at bottom 1/3 of screen and then 2 days later screen went dark. Tried all manner of troubleshooting, tips, tricks, and no luck. My advice: buy a warranty to get you at least 4 years. Problems of last 2 purchases, a Samsung and now the LG all occurred after standard warranty and before 4th year!!!

I didn't want to spend to much on a tv but wanted a smart 4k tv that was a quality brand. I saw this tv for $699 and decided to buy it and what a great deal I got. The 4k picture is so much better. It is also nice you can download the LG TV Plus app to stream apps from your phone to the tv that are not available on the Web OS.

    Worst Tv I've ever had

Do not buy this TV! I bought this TV back in 2017 and ever since I got it it's been having problems!!! The TV often has trouble connecting to the WiFi even though my other TV and other devices have no problems. On top of that, this week the TV screen has turned black and is COMPLETELY unresponsive to anything, so I can't even use it as just a screen for my old Roku. I've called LG customer service and followed all of their troubleshooting steps which didn't work either and they gave no solutions. I even tried asking one of LG's certified technicians who said it'd take around $500 to fix it, which at that point I'd rather just buy a new TV. I've also looked online and multiple other customers have said they have this same black screen problem after 4 years. Overall super upset at LG and this terrible TV. Spend your money on a different brand TV.

For the price this tv is decent. We didnt have the money to purchase a high end 4k tv. We also have bad luck with TVs not lasting. I will never by a Vizio again. LG had been a good brand for us our washer and dryer are even LG. Like I said for the price its a great entry level 4k tv.

This tv was just average for me since it showed some pixelation despite its claim that it is 4K tv

My wife and I went into the store with the intent of getting a Samsung. We've had nothing but great experiences with their products so we were going to stick with them. After looking at the displays side by side and comparing prices we were leaning towards the LG. After looking at the BB reviews we were sold! So 3 days later when I get around to hooking it up.... complete let down! Set up went flawlessly. I went through my inputs to check my cable & fire stick ... great! I try to go back to my cable input aaaaand the tv gets stuck on the LG logo screen after only 10 minutes of use!! I can't make this stuff up! Tried unplugging several times to no avail. After researching other sites we find that this has been an ongoing issue for years! Thankfully it happened early so we didn't have to deal with the warranty issues or the "bake in oven" repairs(Google it). We'll be returning this for a Samsung tomorrow. Stick with what you know!

Picture is just not very good!

I am an electronics guy and I chose this model to replace an LG plasma that is starting to have some issues, but still has a great picture after I calibrated it. I was very disappointed in the picture quality on this set even after spending several hours calibrating it. The picture is just not very sharp or vibrant, appearing washed out. May be because of the cheaper IPS panel. I know this is a budget model with lots of good features for the price, but the picture quality just isn't there on this model.

Ordered this on Black Friday sale received it that weekend but I just barely opened the tv yesterday as I did not have anywhere to put the tv just yet and was waiting to buy a media console to fit that size of tv and when I went to connect & turn on the TV the screen was black! My fault for not checking it sooner but still really upset that when I called BestBuy they didn't even seem to care and said that I really only had 3 days after to report it this is very upsetting as it's a bigger purchase & I was excited for my first smart tv

The colors can be a little washed out sometimes but this tv has no input lag whatsoever for gaming no matter which tv mode you use. Great entry level tv.

Had this tv delivered to my home last Wednesday and submitted an exchange yesterday. The motion quality is AWFUL. Any sort of fast movement looks like a sped-up stop motion. Also, don't know if mine is broken or just awful, but it reboots itself constantly while you're in the middle of a movie. The picture quality alone was enough to return it though.

Bought this TV in December 2016. Last week it suddenly stopped turning on. No power surges or anything. Really a shame, I guess I’ll stick to Samsung TVs.

I upgrade my tv pretty frequently, every couple years, I tried adjusting the picture for a couple hours before I just gave up, the blacks are absolutely AWFUL! The colors look washed out, it looks like a fog bank just rolled up on your picture and everything is just a faded white. Taking this thing back first thing in the morning.
