This is a really nice TV and the picture is great. The smart feature is incredibly fast. I had to play with all the picture setting options to tweak it to our liking. The eye comfort was on and it made the picture way to warm. The size is perfect for a family room and it’s incredible for PlayStation: absolutely, no lag time in this TV at all. The sound is fine, but ours is hooked up to surround sound, I don’t think spending an extra 500 plus dollars is going to get you any better viewing experience. You just need to play with the settings. They say it’s not true HDR, but I’d beg to differ. It may not have 3 different HDR options, but it does have one. The HDR settling is nice, but we found that based on our messing with the color and contrast etc..., it looked best on the sports setting. The vivid setting is nice too. The remote is user friendly, atleast to us it is, and its nice having the steaming buttons on the remote ie nexfiix, Amazon, Hulu. We have a beautiful thin 50 inch plasma and tried to match the pictures color for color. It’s close. For the price you can’t go wrong. It’s crazy how cheap it is to buy a big smart UHD TV. I believe the top three TV manufacturers ( LG, Sony, and Samsung) make similar products in the 700 to 1400 dollar price range. They all have pros and cons. I found the reviews somewhat confusing. I did my research and made the decision and we don’t regret it. You won’t either! If you want a TV that is supposedly close to perfect....drop 4499.99 (55in) or 7999.99 (65in) on a SunBrite TV-Signature Series. As for us we’ll stick with the LG, gladly! :)
Ps. The attached pictures are from regular cable channels. Side view was with movement on screen.
This is a great buy! Thank you to the Best Buy sales support! You guys are amazing!

It’s been a few weeks and I’m loving my television. Picture is great and sound is amazing even without a sound bar. Smart tv is amazingly fast and responsive with lots of options. However, it doesn’t work with Alexa.

I went to Best Buy with a budget for a new TV. Told the guy there what I could afford and he showed me the LG that was $100 more than I wanted to spend but he said it was leaps and bounds better than the others In my price range! I’m glad I listened to him! This TV is great!! Crisp picture and great color!

This TV replaced a 32" Sony that was around 4-5 years old. Needless to say, the size difference made a difference for sure. Set up was quick and easy. My LG sound bar easily connected. Picture is great. Accessing Netflix and Amazon movies is simple. And I use the TV as a huge computer monitor. Pricing was good. Best Buy purchasing was simple and easy as well.

We purchased this TV a few days before Black Friday, and it was a great deal. The price was just right for this smart TV. It has an intuitive menu system, beautiful colors, deep rich dark and ease of use. Only reason i didn't give it a 5 star is because of its built in speakers, not loud enough as my other TV's. But that cane be easily remedied by purchasing a sound bar or external speakers.

Love my Sony. It’s the best pic, works well, easy to use. I have a fire cube, and use Google tv. Also stream a lot. Better than my LG.,

Love the value, would definitely recommend. Fantastic picture and decent sound (for TV speakers, that is). I'm using it for watching over-the-air digital broadcasts, watching Netflix, listening to Pandora (via the built-in full web browser). Higher-end sets often don't include legacy "Component" inputs but this one does. Cons: No "magic" remote included and you can't even buy one for this particular TV from LG, but the standard remote they give you with the TV is fine for my needs. If you want fancy voice-activated or camera/gesture features, you'll need to buy a different TV. Also, this set does not allow you to record or pause live TV onto a USB stick via the USB port on the TV itself, but for $30-$50, you can go buy an aftermarket DTV converter box with USB input and HDMI to connect to the TV.

for a budget HDR 4K this does a really great job. The sound isn't all that great but I have an LG Sound bar with wireless sub anyways so I dont use the internal ever. Picture is good for the price obviously not as great as a top tier TV but its absolutely great at this price point. This is my second LG 4K tv.

This was my first 4K, smart, tv. It replaced my older, non-smart Samsung tv and is miles better.
The picture and smart tv functions are great. The sound is adequate, but I will be looking into sound bars to improve.
Definitely not the top of the line tv, but really good value.

I think this 4K UHD tv is great for its price point. You get all of the smart-tv technology, combine with the 4k screen and UHD tech, at an enormous 60-inches. You can’t beat that very well, while sticking with a major brand name. The only down side is that when choosing the cheaper option, specifically this model, you are sacrificing something. In the case of this specific LG, that would be the viewing angle. Watching something straight on with this tv is amazing. But sit at a 45° angle, and your black points are going to be much lighter and washed out. And the picture is going to be a bit more difficult to see, compared to an OLED or plasma screen tv. Something to think about.

Recently purchased this tv to replace an older Samsung plasma and couldn’t be happier. I initially went in to purchase another Samsung but they did not have it, so I went with with this model. 60 is the new 50 so that’s basically the size I had my sights set on when I went looking for a new tv. I think the picture is top notch especially for the price. It may not have all the features or be the thinnest tv but for the price it’s a really solid value in my opinion.

Purchased this to replace an older 47" 1080p LG TV. Being that the old TV had issues with the main board after 6 years (I had to 'bake' the board in the oven...google 'LG TV oven hack' if you don't believe me) I was hesitant to go with LG again. I chose this because of the price point for the size, active HDR, and 120hz TruMotion. The UI is much better than the Samsung we have but since it is connected to an XB1 we don't use the TV apps. During setup/testing the sound was good, but since are using an audio receiver with surround.
The picture is beautiful! I love the size and resolution, especially while playing 4K content, is amazing surreal. I was told this wan't true HDR and not really 120Hz (minus one star) but as the bonus room TV for mostly console gaming works for my needs. So far I'm happy with the purchase and hopefully lasts longer than my last.
