Broke after 8 months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While it lasted it had a nice picture but it got a huge black line through it after 8 months. LG took 3 months to finally refund my money as they couldn’t repair the unit.

Sound quality bad. other than that it is fine.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this tv but the sound quality is very bad and you will have to buy a sound bar with this. So I do not recommend buying it.

Not a fan
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We absolutely hate this TV and were so mad we’re stuck with it. Can’t do half of the things our 3 year old cheaper Sony can do. Cannot stream from our phones, not as good a picture, you have to allow LG to track what you watch to allow full usage of the TV in the user agreement, etc. I would pick another TV with another operating system.

Posted .We hate to hear the 60UJ6300 TV did not meet your expectations. The 60UJ6300 does support Screen Share and Content Share. Many times picture quality troubles can be resolved with a few tweaks to the settings. We have a help library article that recommends the settings for getting the best picture settings: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product-help/CT10000018-20150577528034-menu-settings If you're in need of some guidance with using your TV, please head to our support page at @LGUSSupport on Twitter or you can give us a call at 800-243-0000 so a specialist can help out. ^CP

Not-Smart TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would give this tv zero stars if I could. It does not stay connected to the WiFi. It will occasionally connect, but then disconnects almost immediately and won’t connect again. So we turn it off and come back to it a few days later and maybe it’ll connect, but most likely it won’t. We recently moved and it did the same in our old house, so I know it’s not because of its location. It is very close to our router, plus everything else in the same room (2 laptops, multiple iPads and iPhones) connect without problems. We do not have cable, only streaming services, so with this tv not staying connected, it’s pretty much worthless to us.

Not purchasing LG electronics ever again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this 60 inch television and the LG sound bar and had it installed by Best Buy. Five minutes after the installer left the audio sound bar started cutting out. Had to return the defective sound bar, it had terrible sound and no power even without the audio cutting out. After purchasing a Samsung sound bar and having it installed we then noticed horizontal lines on the top and bottom of the LG television screen. Having the tv FOR ONLY 3 days the tv started filling up with lines and a scrambled picture. BY DAY 7 you couldn’t get any kind of picture. We returned it and purchased the 65 inch Samsung. Now I have all Samsung and so far so good! (Television and sound bar) it’s only been a week but much better results Sound and picture are really clear and happy that the LG is gone!

Returned It
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not saying it’s a horrible TV, but it just didn’t live up to my expectations. The picture was fine, but my wife really wanted a Roku TV and was disappointed by the lack of apps. Apparently LG operates on its own unique platform, which is fine, but not what we were looking for in a smart TV.

Budget TV Exceeds Expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is challenging to pick a tv....and truth: store displays were weak in assisting. For us, it came down to this: finalists were Sony 60 inch ($800) LG 60 inch ($550) and Samsung 58 inch ($500). No doubt we would have been happy with any of these. But ended up choosing the LG and buying it at Best Buy (after earlier "research" at Costco and Target). Why? Best Buy had best price, nicest sales folks by a wide margin. Sony had (potentially) best picture, but not better enough to justify extra $250-$300. Samsung had (slightly) smaller screen...salesperson said LG had best wide angle viewing and smart TV integration (important to us); wife absolutely loves our recently purchased LG refrigerator so "brand loyalty" was also a factor. So: took it home, and how did it do? Fantastic, exceeds expectations on all fronts. Size: 60 inches is perfect from about 10 feet away (but note: large size and 4k resolution reveals production flaws in local tv news). Picture: "cinematic" - feels like you are watching film - way better than our old Panasonic 42 inch plasma (on basis of streaming content from Netflix, Amazon and Hulu). True, blacks could be blacker in dark scenes in a dark room, and maybe Sony would have been better in that regard (is better according to salesman) - but for us this is not enough of a problem to trigger buyer's remorse. Sports - picture really keeps up (no lag) with speed of professional basketball. Wide angle viewing - good enough - not quite at level of the old plasma at "outbound" seating (approx 130 degrees) so I'd hate to think how others would do if they are indeed worse. Quality of smart tv (streaming service) integration - couldn't be more intuitive/easy to use/effective - nailed it! Audio - biggest surprise - it is really good - returning the sound bar. Ease of setup- couldn't be improved. Remote - functional, buttons are very logical in the dark and design is reasonably ergonomic. Would we buy it again? Absolutely!

Works okay but has issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV has far too many options. The optical audio out receptacle is defective. Had to use cardboard and duct tape to attach the optical output.

Doesn't meet MY expectations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I expected more apps... I can't enjoy the things I enjoyed with a roku. The internet sucks no plugins for the things that matter. just too lazy to return return it. but I regret this purchase

First and probably last LG tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst TV I have ever owned. Very laggy when streaming via WiFi. Streaming channels are sometimes unwatchable it’s so bad. Remote is very crowded and poorly designed. Love my 55” Insignia Roku much more (wish they made a larger screen). Would gladly trade the LG for another Insignia even if the diagonal is 5” less.

will not last long
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.after 2 /12 years of owning this it developed blue spots. then half the screen went dim. tried everything in settings and nothing fixed it. its out of warranty now. So I will not be buying an LG TV or any LG brand product from this point on. very disappointed.

Poor Picture Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed in this LG television. I should have just stuck with my original choice which was a Samsung instead of going with the advice given to me earlier in the day from a Best Buy employee. My older Samsung is a 1080p and the picture blows this LG away. I'm very unhappy with this purchase.
