Terrible picture quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV on sale. The picture quality is just awful, it has a blueish tiny and also a blurry picture. I have tried adjusting all the settings and nothing makes the picture appear normal. This is my first LG tv but would not buy again.

Great TV, Great Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've had the TV for 8 months and we really like it. For under $700, I don't think there was a better option at that time. If something works as expected for the price I paid, I give it 5 stars. The sound quality is great, sounds solid and not hollow. Volume level is typically fine, sometimes (based on what we are watching) I do have to turn it all the way up though. Great Areas: Price, Picture, Smart features, Sound. I love the Netflix and Amazon shortcuts on the remote, need a WatchESPN button. Areas that could use some improvement: The app (smart) areas) of the LG interface are a little awkward, but do work fine once everything is setup. 1 thing that is completely lacking is an ESPN app, it is just not available at all. Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, etc. are available and work great, just need the ESPN app and then I'd be able to get rid of my ROKU completely. For the record, I feel the same about every Smart TV I've seen. Bad area: None really. Summary: Looks great, sounds great, works great. As expected. Only issue: Kept dropping network connection, called LG and they answered quickly and told me the shortcut to a hard reset. Happened a few times and got to be annoying. Then I switched the network from the 5.0 to 2.4 connection and voila, no issues. It was likely an issue with interference from other nearby networks, not necessary the LG.

Good purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a tv, did homework, waited for tax-free weekend. Tried to price match, but manufacturers make that impossible. Got what we wanted, fits our needs. Was a good buy. Not easiest dealing with BestBuy, but ended up with a good deal.

Size + Price = Value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's face it, this is an inexpensive UHD TV. You have to understand this going into the purchase. It's not going to be near the same level of picture quality as a $1,200 tv. That being said, it's good enough for what it costs. Overall it displays a decent (tweakable) picture. The smart features function as they should. The configuration is easy enough to navigate and figure out if you like to thumb through menus. Sound quality is good. The number of inputs is adequate and everything just flat out works as it should in a basic, no-frills manner. This TV is a family room TV in our home that is well lit. We use it mostly for streaming content (no cable), so: YouTube, Netflix, Antenna and Amazon. The picture quality can tend to lack depth of blacks, and it's difficult to get skin tone colors accurate. This tends to have images lose a little bit of their overall depth and gives it a slightly washed-out look, even after tweaking. I'm not going to beat it up too much though. It does what we need and want it to. You have to understand what this set is capable of going into this purchase. If this were going into a darkened movie room, it would not be acceptable, at all. Actually, it would be pretty bad. But in our general-use family room situation, it works as we had hoped. So many products today are up to the consumer to differentiate from one another. You can't wander into a store and pick out the first item you see, thinking that it's going to be exactly what you need. Research, understand what you're getting into, and then evaluate it from there.

Awful TV
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture and audio constantly out of synch. Streaming impossible because of bad wireless parts internally and annoying error messages always popping up on screen. Feel foolish buying this piece of garbage.

Awesome TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This LG 60" uj6300 4k smart tv is just awesome. Once the power save mode is turned off, the picture is bright with brilliant colors. Set up of all the features takes some time thou. This tv does so much. Tried some of my PS4 games on it and am still impressed with the colors of this screen. I am now able to run PS4 with full color output. A big plus for this tv and my games. Menus and on screen prompts are easy to understand with more than one path to access them. All through a most common type remote. There is a help file or instructions on screen without internet access. These were all i needed to learn this model's abilities and make them work.

pic quality/set up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i have 2 other lg tv's so i decided to purchase this one to replace a 720 plasma in my bedroom. when i first set up this tv, i was ready to put it back in the box, and put my old plasma back up and return the tv. but it bothered me that the other lg tv's i have had a exceptional picture. so i did some trouble shooting. tv's are not plug and play anymore, keep this in mind. each time i searched for a adjustment the tv would produce a much better pic.the strange thing that i found was when i went to you tube to view a 4 k video using my fios 5g network the tv would just buffer and not play, i then switched over to regular wifi, the tv started to show what i was looking for. here is the strange thing, when i went back to watching fios tv . the picture was incredible. only change was my tv was not connected to 5g fios anymore. i do not know if this has any effect on the tv and i hope lg reads these reviews and can answer this. in conclusion the tv is staying on the wall so before you give up on any tv check your setting.

Solid TV so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are really only three things I'd complain about. One is that turning the tv on and off and setting up are loud initially. Luckily you can turn off the voice and sounds with a little navigation through the settings menu. The 2nd thing (and this may really just be trivial) is that pandora is not supported. I don't know when this was a thing but the pandora app is not usable on this TV. Why would I need it? Just those times when you're cleaning the house or doing some work away from your desktop and you want to have some tunes playing. The last thing is Hulu. Didn't realize that a device this new with the Hulu app wouldn't support multiple profiles. Probably on the fault of Hulu for their design and support of the app, but you'd think by now we could have multiple profiles. As for the tv itself, the picture is great. I haven't gone into 4K viewing yet (as 1080P still looks great) and I haven't played any video games on it. Setup was easy and in no time you'll be accustomed to the new remote (if you're new to LG like I am). I've read complaints about Wifi but I'm hard wired in so I don't imagine connection issues should be a problem. Got it on sale for $599.99 so if it goes up in price I'll consider it a bargain.
