Don't waste your money
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was great until the month after the warranty expired. WiFi went out. We connected directly with Ethernet and it lasted about 20 months. Now it freezes, the remote quits, and it needs a new mother board. No thank you. We'll ride it out and never buy LG again.

Color wasn’t great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this tv and used it for about two weeks before returning it. The color made everyone look yellow and nothing we did fixed the issue. Also, we started having issues of static showing in the picture when there was no reason for it to be there.

Returned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Packaging and install were easily accomplished, but as soon as the TV was turned on, white lines began to flicker across the screen. TV will be returned and replaced, but hours are wasted with the hassle of unmounting, repackaging and returning only to repeat the install process. Should have bought the Samsung.

Great TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a Sony UHD TV a few weeks ago and had quite a bit of trouble with it. Picture and color was terrible, TV would periodically cycle off and then on by itself, & the remote stopped working. My feeling is if you have problems in the first 30 days you got a lemon. I returned it and got an LG. What a difference. The picture & color are fantastic. They were great right out of the box. The setup has you respond to a few options & the picture & color even got better. The remote is loaded with features including voice control. I have only had the TV for a few days but at this point it seems to be great. I can’t believe it would make a Sony look bad. I have had 2 Sony’s and never had a problem until the UHD model. The LG is impressive.

Decent/Not Great.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So this is for the LG 7700 60 inch UHD TV. Having just had an LG that died after 3 and a half years (I watch a LOT of TV) I ultimately went back to LG even though the reviews seemed better for other TV's. My Last LG a 1080p LEG 240hz 7100 was spectacular picture wise. So good in fact, the 7700 is not better. I'd have given it 3 stars but that seemed Harsh. With Calibration the picture is CLOSE to my last LG but given it's a UHD, that fact is disappointing. So Pros. With Calibration, good color. Crisp, clear, vivid. Black very black, better black than my last TV but not by much. Sound out of the box? Not to bad actually. Here, this was actually better than my last TV BUT, still not super. I bought a Sound Bar, a cheaper option than a new receiver and speakers. Worth it. A Sound bar DEFINITELY improves the Sound quality to a very enjoyable level. Magic remote is easy to use. The WebOS is a bit slow but still better than my last LG. And the APPS are Numerous. you get Vudu, Sling, Hulu, Netflix, youtube a web browser etc. An impressive array. Each easy to get to and set up. CONS: No option to set up your own User Picture. Meaning on my last you could select an option to to calibrate your own picture, using every option under Picture after it would be set as USER 1 under the other manufacturer Presets. They appear to of gotten rid of that option which is highly irritating as all their presets even the HDR one REAK. The only one tweakable was VIVID. This is unacceptable. I still don't know if the only way to get HDR is the preset or not. If so, then you don't get it. If anyone has any input on this I'd appreciate it. Should be cheaper. 900 is to much for this. Overall, decent. The Calibrations under VIVID I used are as follows. Backlight: 90 Contrast 100 Brightness: 55 Sharpness 32 Color: 53 Tint: R3 Color Temp: W1 Noise Reduction: High Mpeg Noise Reduction: Off Black Level: Low Real Cinema: On Motion Ete Care:Off LED Local Dimming: Low True Motion: Off If anyone has a better calibration let me know. So overall, decent, not mind blown. If I had to choose again, I'd choose the Sony 900 or spring for the LG OLED 2017 model

Excellent picture - packed with useful features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was originally considering a cheaper LG model, but then read the feature set on this television and knew it was the better value. The inaugural program to break-in the new set was a stream of Wonder Woman encoded with the supported Dolby Vision spec. Wow. That was how we summed up the movie experience. Love the built-in apps, especially the Amazon Video and SiriusXM - which aren't available yet on the 4K AppleTV.

Best tv on the market
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m convenced that this the best tv available. LG has figured it out. 4 HDMI ports, unbelievable picture, the smart hub is flawless, and the settings are organized perfectly. Originally bought the Sony Bravia tv but returned and bought this one. They’re not even in the same category.

Better picture than the Samsung UN60KU6300FXZA
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this to replace a "Samsung UN60KU6300FXZA" that the panel went out under through warranty. The picture is actually better than the Samsung. I prefer the LG smart TV apps better than the Samsung TV apps. Also this TV has been going strong over three years, the Samsung didn't last 2 years.

Good but not great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You want to believe that if you spend this much money your going to get something you’ll love. I thought so with this tv but after getting it home and fiddling with it still didn’t seem good enough. I kept it a few days and tried to get around the picture quality but I just couldn’t bring myself to say it was a justified price for a 4K tv. I also think that it should be 120hz rather than a 60hz tv. That might have changed my mind. All and all it a decent tv just not a great for the money. I wish the colors would have popped more like the tv I picked from exchanging the lg.

HDMI input died
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HDMI #1 input stopped working about 8 months. The HDMI #2 stopped working just after one year of use. Now I only have HDMI input #3, which means when I want to watch a Blue-Ray disk, I have to unplug the DirectTV HDMI cable from #3 and exchange it with the BlueRay cable. I also found the WiFi has 802.11n speed which is not quite as fast as 802.11ac. My Netflix kept crapping out, so I disconnected the TV WiFi, and use a 4K Roku. Other than that, the picture is fantastic, but the sound is average. Overall, I prolly would have paid a little more for a better TV

Decent quality tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It had great graphics, had it for almost 5 years but after 3 or 4 years it stopped connecting to wifi and then I got a cable to connect it directly to the router and that only worked for 2 months so I had to connect a gaming system to the tv and use the console apps instead of the smart tv function, which defeats the purpose of paying for a smart tv. Also it would randomly turn off and back on all the time.

It worked OK for a Year
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this TV in November 2017. At first, it was fine. The sound was crappy but we bought the sound bar to compensate. Now, the TV shuts off all the time. We have tried following all of LGs tips and tricks to improve the memory and reset the TV. We stopped using the smart tv functions and went back to our Roku to watch all streaming services. For the price we paid, we would have hoped this TV would have lasted longer than 3 1/2 years. Makes me seriously hesitate to ever buy an LG tv again.

DONT EVER BUY AN LG
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BRAND NEW OUT OF THE BOX CERTIFIED TECH DETERMINED THE TV NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, LG TECH SUPPORT REFUSED TO AUTHORIZE A NEW TV, THE CERTIFIED TECH SCHEDULING PERSON WAS RUDE, UNHELPFUL AND SAID THEY WOULD GET TO REPAIR MY TV WHEN THE PART CAME IN WHEN THEY GOT AROUND TO IT, I CALLED LG SPEAK WITH A MANAGER AND AFTER WAITING ON HOLD FOR A RIDICULOUS 56 MINS WAS GIVEN TO THE ESCALATION DEPARTMENT, NOT A MANAGER, WAS NOT HELPED AT ALL, AND WAS BASICALLY TOLD TOO BAD DEAL WITH IT, WE WILL NOT REPLACE YOUR TV. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER LG PRODUCT AGAIN. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, TECHS ANSWERING THE PHONE THAT WON'T LISTEN TO THE TECHNICIAN SERVICING THE TV TELLING YOU IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. WHY BOTHER SENDING THEM IF YOU WONT LISTEN TO THEM, HAVE HAD A BRAND NEW TV FOR MONTHS THAT DOESN'T WORK - LG IS THE WORST, DON'T DO IT, YOU'LL REGRET IT

Should have bought a Samsung
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tv keeps turning off and on. No help from LG support. My last tv was a Samsung, and lasted twice as long as this one. Thought I would save some money buying an Lg. Cost me more in the long run.

Broke after 2 Months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our TV stopped turning on after 2 months. It has been extremely frustrating dealing with LG and their licensed repair service in the Twin Cities. We just missed the extended return period by 5 days, so sad, would have loved to exchange this for a Samsun. Had a good experience with Best Buy but not LG.
