The picture and sound go completely out then come back on. It's happens from every 3 seconds to every minute. We are bummed because we will need to return it. The sound quality was great. The picture was pretty good. Not great with scanning. The remote feels really dinky in your hand and all the buttons are same shape and size so it's easy to pick the wrong button. We were happy enough with the tv, but flashing thing makes us think we need to start all over picking a new tv and tv brand.
