Best price, Best service!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy lived up to my expectations. I ordered two 6000 BTU window air conditioners a month ago. I told my sales person I would be away up to 3 weeks. Absolutely no problem. I went to pick them up earlier this week. Followed email instructions, which were easy to understand, and the two items were brought to my car within 19 minutes. I call that great service!

Little loud and economy mode not right

For a bed room it' a little loud and much louder than the unit I replaced. My main concern is the economy mode. When first started, it works fine, then once it starts to cycle it gets weird. It will kick on for maybe 30 seconds or less turn off then right back on. It then runs for a minute or to than cuts off and repeats every little bit, sometimes running a bit longer. It the regular mode it works fine. I am going to try it a bit longer and if it don't get better will return it for another model. At this point I cant completely recommend it. Proceed with caution

BB selling used products as new!!!

It was either returned or a display item and its unacceptable that best buy would sell it as a new product to their costumers for full price!!! Really unethical from a multi million dollar company.

Air conditioner was defective; LG wouldn't service

Given installation wait and cool weather, didn't discover noise and cooling problems til after Best Buy's 15 day return window had expired. (Best Buy had no installation service in the area). Called LG since product comes with a 1 year warranty for Parts and Labor and they said their policy was not to send out technicians for small (6000 BTU) units like this regardless of what warranty says. They would refund original purchase price but would not send replacement which leaves me out installation cost, sales tax and subject to higher current purchase price. Purchased because thought ac was quiet (around 53 decibels) but it turned out to be very noisy (around 63 decibels). Also would not cool below 75 degrees at night and 79 degrees during day. Buyer beware!

Bad, broken or over rated AC. Sorry I bought this.

I have had the experience of 6000btu units in this window that did way better. I think this is broken as I never hear the compressor/condenser kick on. I would have brought this back but unfortunetly it is past my return date with Best Buy. This sucks!

Garbage

Blowing room temperature air. Poor quality workmanship. Asked for tech support, but just waisted my time. Make yourself a favor, look for other manufacturers.
