This is a great TV! The feature we really enjoy the most is the Passive 3D. It makes football (or anything else for that matter) feel as if you are there! Animation is also spectacular! The Upscaling to UHD is fabulous! Easy to set up - we also bought the LG Sound bar which was also very easy to connect. The remote is a little awkward, I think that is more of a personal adjustment, the fast forward feature could be more accessible. Just a warning for DirecTV - the 4k is still relatively new technology. At this time, there are only three 4K channels available; Pay Per View, MLB, and a Picture Slide Show. Also, while this TV is DirecTV ready, the unit built in the TV is not as up to date as the one (a mini Genie - your main Genie cannot be hooked up to this TV to get their 4K service. Hence, the 4 of 5 stars) that DirecTV will recommend (for an additional one time fee of $149.00). You also must have or upgrade to their Ultimate or Premium package. AND, if you live in an area where only satellite internet is available, more than likely you will not be able to attain the 20MB download speed required.

First, I need to make clear that I did not enter the store to purchase a 4K TV. It had just been returned and put on the floor. Returned because it was too big for the previous buyer, per the sales clerk. It was in perfect condition and in the box. Marked down to $1600. I could not walk away. It was easy to set up and right away the wife and I were pleased with our purchase. It had a beautiful picture. We replaced a 55" Samsung LED TV. Another plus was that it is very light weight for it's size. This allowed the wife and I to mounted it just below our second story catwalk. The only negative issue would be the remote and only 3 HDMI ports. But overall, it has an awesome picture.

Chose this TV primarily to view 3D Blurays. However, kept getting ghosting 3D images. Tried Geek Squad and LG Support recommendations to no avail, so after a week returned the TV for a refund. Will add that 2D video was sharp, clear and perfect overall. Various Smart TV functions were interesting and useful.

I had a 47" LG 3D TV and updated it to a 4K 65" because they are great!

My previous TV was about 8 years old so this was an immense upgrade. The picture looks very nice and does pretty well with sports. Occasionally at edges I will notice some artifacts but they come and go very fast. Considering I bought this TV for $1700 and a sound bar (w/ subwoofer) I really can't complain.

Beautiful tv, easy to set up, easy to hook up with our DIRECTV system.

We were in the market for a new TV since our old one was about 10 years old. We had always been Sony fans, but we thought we would give LG a try. So far so good, we've had it for about a month now. Price is right, picture is good.

3 stars rating for me. 1st unit given died after 3 hours of using, Returned it same day and Best buy Maryland Prkway, Las Vegas was nice about replacing right away. Picture is so vivid and vibrant, with more tweaking you will achieve great blacks. Software is glitchy but with constant contact with tech support they eventually fixed some of the errors. Screen sharing with Samsung phone is very problematic to not even connecting, I'd say you better have LG phone. Worst about this unit is vertical banding which is very prominent especially when picture is panning sideways with bright background like the sky or just white background. No complain with the contrast and vividness of the pictures, it's the bad vertical banding lines that annoys me. No way to fix it, it is a defect with the model's design.

This is a great tv. Picture quality is outstanding. Features are great. And it is reasonably priced. I just saw it on sale at Best Buy for 2,199.99. 200.00 less than what I bought it for over a month ago. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent Choice this television is awesome the perfect fit

This TV is expensive compared to others in it's class. I bought it because I had many 3D movies, and 3D TV's are getting harder to find. I have, so far, nothing negative to say about this unit. Picture is always great, no noticeable motion blur, and the colors are amazing. The 3D is solid, but need to position the TV at eye level for best effect. One thing to note...Best Buy's website shows it coming with a master remote and a "Magic" remote. There is no master remote supplied, and some research shows only the magic remote listed as available. I followed up with BB and LG to verify this. DO NOT let this dissuade you, the magic remote lets you access all of the TV features/menus. (At least I have, up to this point, not found anything that the magic remote can't do)

Excellent HDR. Easy to get between menu' s and great sound.

The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is that I still haven't tried all of the set's features.
