Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First let me say I am no expert on TV's and we do own this and we are older folks I can`t understand some of the bad reviews unless they just got a bad unit this TV is worth every penny the picture right out of the box is outstanding ! the best we have seen the colors pop and when watching Blu-ray and 4k Blu-ray the picture is STUNNING !! we did not buy this for the 3d but have watched a couple of movies and the 3d will knock your socks off the sound is great we have it set to surround and it is plenty loud and clear for us we have it wall mounted the web os is fast and easy to use the remote does take some practice but works great and linked up with our direct tv box so only one remote is needed there are a ton of settings for everything only thing we found hard to find was changing the input it`s kinda buried in the settings the HDR is great and can be set to different levels overall we love this TV LG did a good job on this one and best buy was great as always check this one out for yourself we also have this connected to a LG 7.1 soundbar for movies and it is fantastic so don`t pass this one by based on a few bad reviews ....we love it.

Good TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv has a good picture, but can't say that it's any better than our previous LG tv. Still learning how to use some of the features and haven't tried the 4k.

Great 4K smart TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this TV for a couple of weeks now, and it was a great addition to the living room. The only way it could have been much better is if it were an OLED display, but this was much more affordable. The 65 inch is perfect size for above the fireplace. The 4K with HDR looks awesome. The smart tv apps and remove are great, including integration with cable. The 3D is easy to activate. I have it hooked up to a soundbar, so I make no claims about the TV's sound. I've always liked LG brand, and this TV model doesn't disappoint.

Issues, Issues, Issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went through 3 of these tv's and 1 75 in version. The first one got lost by Best Buy and the second had a sound issue with it cutting in and out, the third had a video issue and the fourth (the 75in) had a broken screen when it was taken out of the box. I now have an LG OLED E6 and I am really careful with the burn in issue. The manager that handled my issues was Nick and wast really helpful.

excellent tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV is amazing! Huge! 4K looks great, especially movies in Dolby Vision or even standard HDR. The 3D is also really good! Just a note though, this tv is HEAVY! Hard to maneuver, so make sure you have at least 3 people to help set it up - there were just 2 of us, and the TV tended to bend inward when lifted, so keep that in mind

Not Impressed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was talked into purchasing this TV by an LG rep in the store. The sharpness of the picture while watching sports is terrible. There is blur around each player in football as well as blur around the baseball while watching baseball games. For being such a "high-end" tv, I have been left very unimpressed with the quality of this product.

The Worse Technology Experience EVER!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent six (6) days, over 26 hours and spoke to 18+ Best Buy/Citi Card reps. before I gave up trying to purchase through BestBuy.Com. When I tried dealing with the "living" my purchase was approved and delivery arranged. Within an hour, however, I received an email telling me my order had been cancelled. I have been dealing with Best Buy for almost twenty years and have NEVER experienced this kind of service from ANYONE!!! I drove to my local store to complain and the Manager spent twenty-five minutes trying to resolve my issues. At the end of that time I left the store with my order placed and a guaranteed delivery time. The LG 65" TV is great, but every time I turn it on I think of the agony I went through & my blood pressure goes up 20 points.

8 bit panel that produces 10 bit color
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv has a bright screen and beautiful colors. It's not a 10 bit panel but it uses 8bit with frame rate control which still produces billions of colors. The uh9500 has a 10 bit panel. The only time that your TV uses 10 bit color is when It receives 10 bit information from say a 4K Blu-ray HDR movie. Other than that blu rays and standard TV is all 8 bit. The local dimming on the TV is not the best leaving black levels that are not as strong as other TVs but still produces good contrast. The TV can pump out a lot of light which is nice if you watch TV in lit rooms. The 3D quality is excellent. The trumotion is one of the best trumotion on a TV for watching Fast Pace Sports and streaming video from Vudu or Netflix which reduces judder. All in all I'm very pleased with this television and I would recommend it to anybody and has an incredible amount of features.

Horrible customer service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV stopped connecting to my LG TV plus app, was no longer giving the option to be paired, tried other apps still cant locate TV on my network, the option to reset my TV was grayed out. Explained this to customer service on three occasions ( got the same person every time i called) and still lady in India did not offer any assistance. Finally just gave up trying to fix issue.. back to the store you go

Awesome TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this TV a little over a month now and so far am amazed at the picture clarity. We have a pretty good library of 3D blu rays and the 3D on this TV is amazing. Love the 4k upscaling makes almost anything watched on the TV look impressive. The selection of apps is also nice as most of the main providers that I can think of are included. The only issue I've seen is some LED lighting on black scenes. I knew that this may be a potential issue going in from other reviews. Did a lot of tweeking and got it mostly removed to our satisfaction. We had a Mitsubishi DLP active 3D set for several years now and the difference in brightness and picture quality is a massive upgrade for us.

220V/110V capable high end TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I focused on LG because their TVs support 110V for the US and 220V for Europe. Then I noticed many advantages like IPS panel and a very great smart TV feature. I really like the TV. It supports wireless headsets via BT and plays all video files off my harddrives. The only thing missing is HBOgo as an APP. The sound could need more volume. I use a soundbar with subwoofer instead of the internal speakers. The old LG TV stands were less fancy but 100% stable. The new stand looks good, but the TV feels more wiggly. A friend bought a Sony XBR-65X850D. After seeing my TV he returned his Sony to get an LG one like me. I would have wanted a 75" instead if the 65", but 1000$ extra is not ok for that little extra. Ohh and beware of the cheap sales in the internet. LG has cheap displays made in Asia and better ones made in Mexico. The Mexico TVs have warranty in the US. The cheap ones have no warranty at all.

BETTER THAN EXPECTED
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this TV early December 2016 and I absolutely love this TV. Not sure why some are disappointed in the 3D, it is the best I have ever seen. When I bought this TV I also picked up the Samsung UHD disc player so that is where I play my discs and have 0 issues. The one issue I have which does not really bother me is, when on a black screen and white letters you do get the light bleeding up and down. I really do not care but for some it may be an issue. Overall VERY happy with my purchase and normally I would be a Sony guy but they use active 3D, LG uses passive and Samsung none so this was the one for me as I wanted a TV with 3D. THANK YOU LG!!!
